RZ Fantasy 5

Welcome to the Barstool RZ fantasy 5 again! I probably won’t be able to update every single week but for now, I’m going to say who I would be looking to take in a fantasy draft!

QBs

  1. Patrick Mahomes- Ram with Mahomes is going to be annoying we already know. But for fantasy owners, he’s the tool to annoy all of their friends. This is the best out of the box QB I’ve personally have seen Ram have and based on his successes with the others, this one should be a no brainer.
  2. Tua Tagovailoa- We saw what Spittah did with Tua with just Jaylen Waddle. Add a better user (sorry Spittah), and Tyreek Hill, Adel has the speed around him to make Tua top in yards every week. Not even mentioning Mike Gesicki.
  3. Justin Herbert- Moji likes the sling the ball around and this is the perfect QB to do it with. Accuracy and a cannon for an arm. The receiving core around him with Eckler catching passes out of the backfield, may make Herbert the #1 QB in fantasy this year.

Sleeper QBs

Zach Wilson- Adam showed with Jordan Love, he can get the ball down the field. His #1 concern is going to be developing Wilson as fast as possible and build around him.

Trevor Lawrence- Have we forgotten what Jake did with Baker so soon? This is a guy Jake can mold himself and not piggy back off of someone else’s attribute upgrades before a trade. Jake’s decision making has improved and so should the value of TLaw this time around.

RBs

  1. Derrick Henry- I mean duh right? Henry was the #1 back last year and will remain there. The Titans have even less of a WR core and an uncertainty at the QB position. If any success comes, it’s on the coattail of King Henry.
  2. Johnothan Taylor- As I looked and saw JT had juke box AND armbar I thought of how much fun this league is going to have playing him. Ryan can’t throw the ball all over the field like he used to so opening up the passing attack with a great ground game is imperative to success for the Colts.
  3. Dalvin Cook- Spence was heading for RZ greatness late when he had Alvin Kamara. Cook is even better. He’s shifty and can do a little bit of everything. Spence likes a slow paced game and Cook will be the benefactor.

Sleeper picks

Antonio Gibson- Glenn was a hot commodity with Aaron Jones last year. I don’t think they’ll take scissors out of the game which means they ain’t taking Glenn out of the game either! Gibson is a good running back who should help him not want to throw with Wentz a lot....hopefully.

Javonte Williams- From what I saw of the gameplay video, Williams is shifty! Williams will be on a great offense and there’s no way Coach Beech tries to dust the knees off of Melvin Gordon when you have a guy like Williams back there!

WR

  1. Jalen Waddle- Doubling down on my Dolphins hype here. I think Adel is going to look for Waddle more than Hill when possible. Both are great plays, but we saw last year what Waddle can become
  2. Chris Godwin- Spittah loves his speed doesn’t he? It’s not surprise Godwin is on this list being the faster of the 2 WR1s in Tampa Bay. Spittah will want to air it out as much as possible resulting in consistency from Godwin on a weekly basis.
  3. Keenan Allen- Another double down! Allen may not be the fastest but his route running and shiftiness is going to help propel Moji to the top of the AFC where I think he will be. Mike Williams is a great second fiddle but Allen and Eckler will most likely have the most targets for this team.

Sleepers

Amari Cooper- King John is going to feed Chubb just as much as Longville did. But, I give KJ the nod on passing the ball. Once he gets Deshaun if not before, Cooper will demand attention and production of the Browns want to stay afloat awaiting the leagues decision on a suspension for Deshaun.

Michael Thomas- It sickens me I have to put him as a sleeper but seems some have forgotten of one of the best WRs in the league! Thomas will still be the guy even with Olave coming in. Trent should see a wildcard spot very obtainable and MT and his route running will have to play a part in that.

TEs

  1. Travis Kelce- Mahomes lost his other favorite target so this one is just obvious. Kelce is still very good and will be for some time. Ram is gonna look for that star or X on the field and rain down upon opposing linebackers as he should.
  2. Darren Waller- I know they just got Adams but I’m not sure how much I trust Eikim to sit in the pocket long enough for Adams to crack my top WRs. Waller is an absolute unit and with his ability to make big plays, he will require a lot of attention or else defenses are going to feel like I do whenever I go against Waller in IRL fantasy. Ask Spencer about those occasions.
  3. George Kittle- Can’t have an RZ article without some sort of self slurp right? Kittle is my highest overall target and will be treated as such. He’s a red zone threat and I see him getting a lot of touches in big down situations.

Sleepers

Kyle Pitts- He almost cracked this list and may have with a different user. No TOFN slander but we just haven’t seen enough to put him with these other guys. Adam did insane things with Pitts last year and he’s going to be very very good for the whole cycle.

Cole Kmet- Ask who Fields is throwing the ball to outside of this. Not much. Yes they have some fast young WRs but Kad isn’t throwing deep. Mooney and Kmet drags will be the death of his opponent.
