Season 71 Draft Look Back
Looking back on the season 71 draft it was the 1st of our cycle and has been very influental in shaping teams into what we have seen in the Redzone universe at this point. Some very influental players are in their 3rd season with extensions to be had I figured it was a great time to look back on this class. With all of that being said lets go through some fun next gen stats brought to you by yours truly.

The average overall of all players left in league including free agents 68.75
-
The average weight of all players left in league including free agents 246.48
Compared to draft classes of the past the overall have been tuned quite a bit. Also due to regression there were more players with higher devs who simply regressed because they were not a high enough overall. Take into account that we also recently disabled most dev games and I am not surprised that our draft classes have been down compared to this time last cycle. The added complexity of the draft system has also added to this because we do not know who the top prospects are in most situations. Even prospects that look really good can fool you and turn out to be busts. There is a lot more mid round or later 1st round and 2nd round talent that is going to slip and be on this list. Hope you enjoyed these facts about the season 71 draft class.
