RZ Best Madden 22 Fits

What’s up fellas! The Madden 22 excitement is already building and my inability to sleep last night helped me think of this idea! Here are the list of teams I think users would have the most success with or be the most interesting to watch build the team. New guys I’m sorry if you’re not featured or yours doesn’t make sense. I’m just now to the point I’ve seen a lot of the RZ vets play style so this was easier for them!

King John- Jets. If madden 22 for KJ is anything like 21 I think the Jets would be a great pick for KJ. He has a good defensive line with Williams and the addition of Carl Lawson. Early on he struggled to find his franchise QB until he found Love but here he already has one with Wilson. He can take the same path to dominance and take a few seasons to build his team how he wants it instead of having to adjust to an already build roster with superstars locked in.

Longville- Saints. Longville having to handle the post-Brees era is a bit sketchy but here’s why I picked them. In my time with Longville in the AFC North, he made a name for himself running an RPO-full offense. New Orleans is a great team to wear opponents down with short yardage gains and the occasional LAP to Michael Thomas. Defensively he has some good pieces too. He’s going to have to pay Lattimore soon and Marcus Williams as well since he is on a franchise tag but we could see his GM skills go to work.

BM- 49ers. BM took Tua and made him into a great QB before all was said and done in 21. Here he has Trey Lance because no way anyone in here is starting Jimmy G, he will have his deep ball with Samuel and Aiyuk, he will also have a speedy back in mostert. I know Kittle is there but everyone knows he’s OP. I think Lance would have around the same success Tua did under BM considering Madden will probably make them the same type of QB.

Pat- Cowboys. From private messages I have had with Pat and watching him play, Pat tries his best to have a balanced attack on offense. This would be a match made in heaven. The rushing attack of Zeke mixed with that receiving core, I think Pat would be a threat to make a run and make one early. His core players are already great and has the ultimate trade piece in LVE!

Moji- Bengals. If we are all being honest, Moji had a fantastic madden 21. His offense was top notch and this match would be so fun to watch. Take away his trading the whole team with Cincy. This is a young roster that he can develop almost each and every young piece he has. You add this young offense and Moji’s ability to have lopsided trades with new booty, then he can build that defense and then yet again be a cycle long contender.

Ramesu- Ravens. We have a saying here in the south. If it ain’t broke don’t fix it. Yes this isn’t the Cardinals but in some aspects it’s pretty dang close. Lamar>Kyler, you have young Hollywood instead of old DHop, Mark Andrews, and yes he gives up OP Simmons but he gets the speedy Patrick Queen who along with Devin White and Devin Bush, is one of the easiest young linebackers to develop. He would just have to develop Dobbins as he did Drake and Ram would kill it with the Ravens.

Roc- Bears. Best fit? Maybe not. Would be hella interesting to watch? Absolutely. Roc has shown his ability to develop a QB after rye emergence of Marquell Elliot later on in the cycle and I think Justin Fields, if developed correctly, will be a fantastic QB in madden. If Roc is okay with taking his lumps the first couple season and actually build around Fields. He can have a really nice team all cycle long.

Spencer- Browns. Spencer has shown improvement this cycle and outside of his post-Brees year and the Darnold incident, he didn’t have an awful GM cycle. After losing some guys he built his team overall back to a mid-80. With Cleveland, Spencer doesn’t have to worry too much about GM work off the rip. That team is nasty and they just added Jadaveon Clowney. He can solely focus on his on field success and let the GM work happen when it needs to.

Spittah- Jaguars. Yes let’s all laugh at Spittah while he figures TLaw out and throws a 40 pick season and then have him make us eat our words afterwards. This is a young team of everything Spittah likes. He loves his man defense and he has a likely future lockdown CB in CJ Henderson, He has Josh Allen and Myles Jack, he can literally pick which RB he wants to break the carry and TD split with, and of course the franchise QB is a rookie. I think Spittah could do well with this team especially with Robinson and Travis behind TLaw as long as he can make the right GM moves.

Adel- Steelers. Adel has shown he doesn’t need a fantastic QB to win a super bowl. Outside of Big Ben, this Steelers team is nasty. If Adel can find a guy he can run with at QB, he can make some noise. Minkah is the most OP safety in the game, the addition of Najee, and Devin Bush make this team so intriguing on so many levels. He may need another good DB but he will have Watt rushing the edge for him. KJ set the bar high for the next Steelers user but I think Adel would have a nice cycle in Pittsburgh.

KFox- Chargers. I like the idea of giving KFox a QB he can work with out of the gate. He will have a very good defense to fall back on to help him get into the swing of things on offense. The receiving core of the Chargers is fantastic so if his players can make plays and he can have a somewhat respectable running game, KFox may see his first playoff appearance around mid cycle.

RFox- Chiefs. My first advocate of let the lesser users get better teams! Not a knock against RFox. He’s not bad at all but he was stuck with the Lions. I would love to see what he can do with a roster like this. It’s an upgrade in every position for him. As long as he can make the aging defensive pieces work, he should be able to see some success.

WG- Dolphins. I’m not giving my man Zach another loaded roster to trade away. All jokes aside he showed a hint at his player development making Archer and his RB work and thrive later on in the cycle. He will have Tua and another good receiving core, and some pieces on defense to build his team how he wants it and build it early.

Jim- Raiders. I think one of my favorite parts of madden 21 was seeing what ancient artifact Jim was going to trot out at QB every year. In Las Vegas, he will have his serviceable QB, he will have Henry Ruggs, his XF RB in Josh Jacobs, and a pretty solid defense to match. Not forgetting they added Kenyan Drake. Jim late cycle has been showing out and if he gets a decent roster to start with, he can do it all over again.

Metal- Panthers. Metal was fun to play for me but so frustrating at the same time. In our games at least, he was the definition of “take what the defense gives you”. Carolina is a good team for that. You have CMC, Darnold isn’t awful and can make the plays needed, and he has DJ Moore to work with on the offensive side. Defensively his line would be great. If they give Derrick Brown any dev trait he will be easy to dev up if we allow user DL and it’s as it is in 21. I don’t think Metal could win a bowl here, but he would definitely be a tough out.

BP- Bills. From what I understand, BP is coming back and he would work wonders in Buffalo. He didn’t like having a true scrambler but Josh Allen can do it all. He will have his go to target in Diggs, that Bills defense is tremendous, and he can decide which RB he wants to feed. I wish BP the best in his return tour and if he gets a good roster, he can come back where we assumed he would be before madden 21 started.

Jake- Packers.  This is if they don’t sign Rodgers back and Jake can trade him. I don’t love the idea of Jake developing Jordan Love but he has a roster to help him do so. Aaron Jones can be his backbone as he tries to figure out if he actually wants to keep love. Jaire Alexander is lockdown and he has some pieces in that LB core and DLine to make you smile as well. (I think Jake is coming back)

Andrew- Cardinals. If I want to be successful I’m going to need a roster handed to me. My one good season in Cincy I had an easy schedule and got my back blown out by KJ in the offs. I would like to try my hand with a QB like Kyler while knowing my defense can bail me out of any situation I get in. If I can find a RB, I should be decent in Arizona.

JP- Titans. If JP had a superstar running back in madden 21 I don’t think he’d be on the “most disappointing owner” list so often. The Titans have Derrick Henry and don’t have 99 throw power Josh Allen which may shy JP of wanting to throw long and take the short gains with Tannehill until he decides it’s time to move on from him. The Titans offer a good defense as well. They bring Farley in with Byrard, Fulton, and the addition of Bud Dupree as well.

IJ- Broncos. Since I’ve been here one thing has stuck out to me about IJ. His defense. This Denver secondary is loaded with the likes of Kyle Fuller, Ronald Darby, Justin Simmons, and they drafted Surtain. He does have old Vonn Miller who he would probably trade and he has a great player in Bradley Chubb. We all know about their receiving core and what it can be but can IJ find a QB? Even a RB because Melvin Gordon isn’t it. IJ has a chance to show us his offensive development with a team like this.

Kelly- Buccaneers. Kelly has shown he can make a decent QB work with Carter. And we all know Kelly loves to throw the football. He doesn’t have to wait on a Rich Walker when he has Mike Evans and Chris Godwin out of the box. He can play with Brady the first year to try to get that ring and then look elsewhere. Maybe even Trask. The Buccaneers secondary is also pretty good. Carlton Davis had a great year so he will be better in 22, and Jamel Dean will be a speedy CB that’s hard to catch after a pick. Of course he gets Devin White too. Kelly would be absolutely terrifying with this roster.

Astin- Giants. I think I saved my best for last. Whether it’s Astin or CDoubleDollaSign logging into madden 22 this screams him. A young QB dev project, a great group of WR. Maybe better than he had in Denver. Slayton, Engram, and Sheppard with the additions of the lighting fast John Ross, Kenny Golladay, and the draft addition of Kadarius Toney. All that with Saquon. Defense has some nice pieces with Adoree Jackson and Dexter Lawrence but Astin can build that. This time he doesn’t need to even worry about offense.
