Charger Write Up

 

 

Coaches: Ian Johns. Coach Johns and the Chargers have built and maintained a solid team. The defense has been the heart and soul of this team through the cycle.

 

Success: 4 winning seasons including 3 playoff berths. Not a bad cycle from a team in arguably the toughest division in football. This division is the only one with every team posting at least 3 winning seasons and multiple playoff appearances each. Any success here is great success. The Chargers have also had a lot of success in team building through the draft and FA.

 

Strengths: A big strength of IJ is his ability to draft and develop players. He has put together a solid offense through the draft with a solid rb room and a great set of WRs. He has alo put together one of the most feared defensive fronts in football. Match that with his phenomenal secondary this guy can build a team.

 

Weaknesses:  It is hard to pinpoint a weakness on the chargers and Coach IJ. Being in a tough division in all. But I would have to say it is consistency. From 1 week to the next he may drop 30 on you and shut you out or you may win by 20. Other than that solid user in a tough division.

 

M22 Prediction: I feel IJ can build about any team he wants. He will take a team, build it to his liking and then start competing. Depending on what division he gets put in next cycle you could see him in the playoffs every season.
