Bears Write Up

Coaches/GM: Beat has had a very interesting cycle. He started off with a terrible Bears team and was going to have to gm his way out the rut that that Bears were in . However, to this point in the cycle it seems he hasn't quite been able to do that. Multiple seasons he has been within one game of clinching the division and a playoff berth but can’t get there.

Success: Though the Bears haven’t made the playoffs yet they have been very close a few times now. Missing out sometimes by a mere one game or a tiebreaker scenario. Its not like the Beat gets blown out all the time either, everyone is entitled to a bad game here or there but he has had many games where he lost by 6 points or less.

Strengths: Staying in games is one of the Bears best strengths. Beat is in most of the games he plays as long as he avoids the early blunders. Just has to sure up a few things here or there and he could be the NFCN king!!

Weaknesses:  Team building and closing out games would have to be the biggest weaknesses of Beat and the Bears. The problem is those are two major problems to have.  Beat has given out some not so good contracts in his tenure has Bears GM and coach, including paying a 28 year old below average corner nearly 60 million over 5 years in Michael Ojemudia. There is nothing wrong with locking up a center but paying a 30 year old middle of the road center in Brain Allen 53 million over 5 years is a bit rough. Closing games is the hardest thing to do in RZ and Beat, like many others, has the tendency to make major mistakes when he falls behind. That leads to deeper holes that are much harder to dig out of .

M22 Prediction: If Beat has a better starting point in M22 i feel he could have a better cycle. If he starts off with a better qb from the get go it could lead to more success in the cycle, Just can’t be giving out terrible contracts.
