Future Of The Redzone: Top 10 Offensive Players 25 And Under

10. HB Josh Jacobs Raiders: This young stud running back is just the tender age of 22 and can carry this teams offense on his back. Coach Tiko better get this kid 20-25 touches if they are going to be successful in the AFC West. Jacbos can help you control the clock in a division that has Mahomes in it. Jacobs is a power back that reminds me of the running backs of old more than any of this new crop of rushers of the football. He has a pretty good offensive line to run behind and should be able to follow up on his rookie campaign with an extremely solid sophomore season for the former Crimson Tide running back. Jacobs should be the bell cow in Las Vegas for years to come. Coach Tiko has an excellent offensive building block in this young player.

9. HB Aaron Jones Packers: Aaron Jones went from relative unknown to being Aaron Rodgers greatest weapon overnight it feels like. Jones is 25 and just reaching his prime in terms of what he brings to the table. Coach Lefty I am sure will get him his 20-25 touches to keep this offense going and keep Aaron Rodgers upright with a strong run game. Jones is also an excellent pass catcher, which provides Rodgers a wondeful saftey valve and possibly Jordan Love in the future as well. Jones is a player who will most certianly get an extension from Coach Lefty to keep in Green Bay for a long time to come. Jones will be a do it all guy for Coach Lefty from day 1 and I certianly see him in the MVP race based on his usage rate.

8. HB Dalvin Cook Vikings: Boy do I love former Seminoles, so Dalvin Cook surely slots in to my top players 25 and under. He provides an invaluable resoucre for Kirk Cousins and with the loss of Stefon Diggs in the offseason I expect Coach Eikim to have even more of a need for Cook's services. He runs a lot bigger than he actually is but is shifty enough to make any defender in the league miss. He is not the ideal blocker but is serviceable enough as a pass catcher to be a threat in the open field aginst any defense. Much like Aaron Jones before him Cook is due an extension and I would expect coach to want to keep him in place for the forseeable future. I expect a big year out of Cook in terms of pushing the Vikings towards competing in the division and a playoff berth.

7. HB Nick Chubb Browns: This Browns team is young and loaded from my view point. Nick Chubb is the core of that youth movement along with his Quarterback Baker Mayfield. Chubb is a powerful runner who defenses should not take lightly, Coach Prewitt should be getting this guy his 20-25 touches in the run and pass games or he will be wasting away. Chubb can help this offense control games and make it so mediocre Miles as his former coach named him and his group of guys can rush the passer from ahead. Chubb brings this offense together from being a pass first offense to one that in my thoughts makes it much more balanced. At just the age of 24 Chubb will be your bell cow back for years to come and Coach Prewitt would be smart to keep moving his offense the way of Nick Chubb.

6. HB Saquon Barkley Giants: Coach Brandon Beech has a stud running back on his hands. I have said this mutliple times in this article but this guy is just a bell cow, he should get 75% of Coach Beech's carries and some touches in the passing game to make it 20-25 times he touches the ball in game. Saquon at just 23 years old has his whole football life ahead of him. I fully expect him to last nearly the entire cycle and make the Giants competitive down the line. Saquon should be most of the offense early on and it will be up to Coach Beech to keep him healthy and in the lineup which he has struggled doing at times during his career but the talent is undeniable.

5. HB Zeke Elliot Cowboys: Often times Elliot and Barkley end up in the same conversation. His team is beter than the aforementioned at this point, but Elliot is hitting his prime right now. Coach White Greg would be wise to make sure this guy touches the ball, the Cowboys have historically been better during his tenure when Elliot touches the ball a proper amount of times. This guy with the salary he has as an elite running back is the first one I could see being traded away to a contender, he has a couple of year window to be the true bell cow a team needs. I don't think the Cowboys will win during his time so I could see him easily ending up elsewehre. Let's see how Coach handles this sitatuion with his star running back in the coming seasons.

4. G Quenton Nelson Colts: Shock and awe!  How could I possibly put an offensive lineman on this list? Nelson is a stud already and has the potential to be the best lineman in the league in the next few years that is why. I figure the way that Coach Chapstick runs the ball this guy should benefit greatly from the Chapstick style. This guy is not only a run blocker he is also and adept pass blocker and should protect Rivers or any potential young QB coming the way of the Colts for years to come. Nelson is just 24 and the sky is the limit however I fully expect a mega extension coming the next couple of years that will tie him to the Colts for the majority of the cycle. Player and coach this is a match made in hevan and I fully expect Coach to take advantage of this great lineman.

3. HB Christian McCaffery Panthers: This dude is an absolute stud, a cycle changing player. If Coach Malik can make proper use of him this guys could be the league MVP muliple times. As adpet a pass catcher as he is a runner McCaffery is the premier dual threat and this dude can just flat out ball. This guy needs to have the ball in his hands 20-25 times or he will waste away. I could see the Panthers getting a haul for him at somepoint because they do not feel ready to compete but I expect them to get him some help on offense at the line and other skill positions. He could proably benefit from Teddy Bridgewater and his check down tenedancy. I expect CMC to be in the MVP conversation if he can help these Panthers win some games.

2. QB Lamar Jackson Ravens: Lamar Jackson speaks for himself, last year's MVP is one of the permier young players in the league. He is a cycle and generational player that you just cannot ignore. Coach Blueprint has found himself in a gem of a situation and he will have this guy the entire Cycle or at least he should. This guy will win awards and lead the league for years to come, he will develop into a more stable passer and be the best dual threat this league has ever seen, even better than Vick. I figure Lamar could possibly be the best player this cycle but there is one more player I have my eyes on in terms of that prestigous honor.

1. QB Patrick Mahomes Chiefs: I mean who else could this be? This guy is the best this league has ever seen at such a young age.  Coach Spittah has his guy for the cycle and the entire cycle I mean. I do not expect Mahomes to never wear another Jersey he is fully developed and can only just get better over the next couple of seasons. I expect him to be in the running for titles and MVP's the entire time he is suiting up for this Chiefs team. They have given him the weapons and will need to keep improving the defense and offensive line as it ages to keep Mahomes in the title chase for years to come.
