This team is in a weird spot being in the AFC West, they went out and splurged in free agency the last two seasons. They are stocked with young talent due to the Kailil Mack trade being completed and the draft picks being on their roster now. There is not much to speak of from the 2017 draft in terms of players to extend Gareon Conley is on the Texans roster so they do not have a 1st round pick to resign which in this situation may benefit them. They will need to trim the fat on this roster and should build around exciting running back Josh Jacobs. Is this team sold on Derek Carr? It is Coach Tiko Brown so I would suspect the answer to that is no, but we will have to wait and see what he decides to do at the position. |

Another team stuck in a weird spot with a young mega star at quarterback in this divsion. This team is actaully really good and will need to maitain in order to keep competeing. Tough choices will have to be made as TJ Watt and JuJu Smith-Schuster are going to be need to resgined and this amount of money simply will not suffice for them to do that and sign the neccesarry free agents to fill this roster. Could they go full rebuild and use Big Ben as a trading piece to a contender? It does not help I do not know anything about King John and his decision making as a GM. This not a great situation to walk into as a first time GM in this ultra competivite league. |

Kelly will have his hands full with albeit talented but older and overpaid roster at this point. Tak McKinley will need to resgined and room will need to be made in order to have this team flexible enough to not fall into a full rebuild. Matt Ryan, Julio Jones, and Calvin Rildey man a high powered offense with defensive stalwarts like Keanu Neal and Dieon Jones. A youthful secondary may need some infusion of talent as it is a unit that has lost some talent over the last couple of years. I fully expect Kelly to draft well and make the correct moves in order to make this roster viable. I would not rule out a 1-2 year tank like he did the rams to secure the players he need for the length of the cycle when he was so successful. |

Adel picked himself a hell of a challenge here. He cannot restructure contracts like they do in the NFL so he is going to lose some talent. The Wentz/Hurt debate will rage on this first season and should be intersting to see what he decides to do at the position. Alshon Jeffery and Desean Jackson could be the first wave of veterans to be released by the Eagles following the season. Adel will have to determine whether he can keep this roster competitive or if he needs to embrace the tank after his intial run. Derek Barnett and Sidney Jones are both due extensions which makes this situation even more difficult. Adel will have to do his best GM work ever in my mind to make this situation work out in his favor. |

YIKES!!! I don't know that Spencer should have done this to himself, we can make the arugment that he should not have picked this team but he did and so here we are. A rebuild may be inevitable or at least a retooling to keep this roster intact but at the same time letting the parts you don't need go in lieu of cheaper pieces. This is by far the worst cap situation in the league. Tough choices will need to be made especially with young players coming up for extensions like Kamara and Lattimore. He has a 0% chance in my estimation of reatiting Drew Brees even if he does not retire. That could throw them into a rebuild that many think is coming for this team post Brees. |
