Cowboys |

This is another team that will soon be in cap hell. Zac(h/k?) will have his hands full with this team while there are some fantastic building blocks the looming Prescott extension will surely take up this money and require him to make moves. I have heard mixed feelings about White Greg's ability to navigate this storm of keeping this team going will be tough. He will have some chances with the Eagles situation and the other two teams in the division being to far away at the beginning. Woods and Awuize will be cap casulties likely and defensive talent will need to be infused during this offseason. The other move could be letting Dak walk but that would require the Cowboys to down grade or go to an unproven option which could sink their cycle. Alot riding on this first offseason for the Cowboys. |
Texans |

Its time to Pay Deshaun Watson and I don't think this enough money to do so, the Texans have been managed so poorly from a cap and player standpoint in the NFL it is creating challenges for Metal that he will have to face. I could have left it there but the Texans also will have to reshape this roster. I could easily see David Johnson, and Kenny Stills two players the Texans have traded for in the last 12 months simply being released due to the cap issues this team is likely to face. Metal has an uphill battle trying to combat these mistakes and make this team better. I mean this team was beating the Chiefs 24-0 in a playoff game at one point so they are talented. A replacement for JJ Watt should surely be on Metal's mind as Watt will be 32 coming into this offseason. |
Chiefs |
$27,781,439 |
Oh boy, this number is pre Mahomes and Jones extensions my apologies so this number will surely be a lot lower. Sammy Watkins could be a cap casualty in this situation for Spittah and the Chiefs. This will totally be about maintaing as it would be hard for this team to get any better, maybe on defense but you will be sacrificing offense to do so and with Mahomes I don't think that is a great idea. They are the Chiefs enough said. |
Vikings |

Eikim will make wonderful draft picks and that is exactly what this team needs. Don't spend a dime in free agency unless it is a steal of deal. He will need to cut the dead weight and reinvent this team. Will Kirk Cousins be apart of that retooling? That is yet to be seen but I could see it going sideways quick in Minnesota. This team needs to be patient and build it back up to compete with the Packers in the North. Eikim has to decide what to do with Dalvin Cook... Pay him or let him walk? With the new franchise tag rules keep an eye out on this situation. |

Beat is a wonderful person, really enjoyed our time in Nashville together. With that being said he is in for a world of trouble with this squad. He is going to need to make tough choices. Foles or Trubisky???? That is what this will come down to. If I am really going to make a hot take it will be neither but that will remain to be seen. He has a solid defense and will need to build up the rest of this team with little money. They have thier picks for the first time in a while and that will be a big help with the lack of money they will have. Cutting Foles could free up about 20 million this offseason. |
