Giants $48,645,655 The Giants are a team on the rise with a young quarterback, and a running back who many believe to be a supreme talent. This team is middle of the pack in terms of cap room. With Evan Engram being the only notable player on the final year of his rookie contract I would expect coach Beech to try and get Daniel Jones some protection. I think it would really be to his benefit to slow build this through the draft or if you are going to sign someone at least don't make a long term commitment. I want to see the young players he can keep and play. I feel like the Giants can use this offseason to build a successful team but it will require patience from the NY faithful. I could see Beech trimming the fat on this roster and having more money than we originally thought.
Panthers $47,323,388 Malik has a team on the rise here much like the Giants right before them. CMC is any coach/GM's dream but this team has a few holes it needs to plug in this draft. Secondary would be a big piece I expect him to be looking for. The Panthers long had some of the best linebackers in the league and Malik could look to infuse some talent into this group as well. With no 2017 1st round pick to resign this team will likely spend some money in free agency. Is Malik sold on Teddy as well? That could easiily be one of the biggest storylines. This team needs weapons outside of CMC on the offensive side and I could see them taking a shot at even a veteran like AJ Green if he is allowed to leave town in Cincy.
Rams $39,844,432 The Rams are in an awful cap situation, part of the reason I took the team. Unless I am letting everyone walk out the door the likelyhood is this team will be the same or worse without a 1st round pick in the upcoming draft. I will look to trim the roster of overpaid veterans and develop some younger players in their stead. I fully expect to make some moves in order to make free agency more fruitful but I will be bargin shopping for a while here. A fundamental change in philosphy is needed to avoid a total collapse of this roster it cannot hold up on the massive contracts it is currently constructed on. Did I mention I still need to sign Jalen Ramsey.
Packers $37,182,988 The Packers are a good team and I fully expect them just to change out a couple of pieces in free agency. That will keep this team a well oiled machine to run the North for the foreseeable future. Getting yonger will be the key. Will Aaron Rodgers fetch this team some extra captial at the expense of cap space at this point? Do you load up for Rodgers in this free agency class or take a much more measured approach with a young quarterback in Jordan Love? Time will tell but I fully expect the Pack to work on getting younger up front and finding a pass rusher who can lead this group they have long done it by comittee since Clay Matthews left town.
