Broncos $56,586,675 I had to resist the urge to write "It's Astin" here and leave it at that. This roster needs some help though, Von Miller is aging and this secondary is clearly under renovation. This team does not have the defense that lead Peyton Manning to the superbowl 5 years ago, there is alot more unproven talent. Offense should be nice at the skill positions and should need minimal upgrades. Is Drew Lock the guy? Could Astin see someone in this free agency and tie the future of this team to him (*cough* Cam Newton?) instead of developing Lock. I feel like that is the situation to watch, Jackson was his QB last cycle but he did bring some veterans in to replace him at different times. QB is the positon to watch for the Broncos in Season 63 Free Agency.
Titans $56,312,245 This team is in a win now situation, they have a good roster that is built around a stud in Derrick Henry. It will be up to Coach Roc to maximize the prime of Henry or change the philosphy of this team entirely. If the philosphy changes then you could see a very early exit for new Titans Quarterback Ryan Tannehill. This could see this team go into a complete rebuild trying to jettison a salary like that is never easy. The other way it could is riding Henry. Keep bolstering the line play on both sides of the ball to try and control the game with time of posession. You don't see alot of teams doing that nowadays but it could work. Titans will be looking CB/DL in this free agency to sure up their defense and try to take this team on another run.
Lions $53,222,566 Let me start with I do not know RFox or how he views his teams, his philosphies etc. In terms of the Lions I would reccomend a rebuild. Not sure how Stafford will be rated but the cubboard is pretty bare unless you are talking about Kerryon Johnson, Golliday, or Hockenson. Those are some nice building blocks but that is not winning you a divison. In Okuda, Out Slay, the first has a chacne to be great but we know Slay is a number 1 corner in this league. Build this team right in the trenches in the offseason is my message here to the Lions.
Bills $52,751,556 Coach JP has a hell of a roster here, this team is ripe for the building. Diggs coming in leaves a void of a rookie on this team which as a team builder means that you are going to have to be more creative with your money. Tredavious White, Zay Jones, and Dion Dawkins are all due extensions which could make this number quite a bit lower. Josh Allen the follwing year the Bills should just look to plug holes in free agency and pay their home grown talent. This team can compete in the AFC East from day 1 and I believe this free agency can put the pieces in place next to Allen and crew to make this team a superbowl contender for the mid part of the cycle. If I had to take someone who hasn't won it yet it would be JP.
49ers $51,968,044 Sin is a very underated team builder and we know once he is back in the swing of things he is also very good on the sticks. The 49ers went to the superbowl last year and this team is absolutley loaded. Sin will need to balance bringing back the important pieces and understanding who can be easily replaced to keep this team a superbowl contender. I expect him to try and maintain in this free agency and splashy additons would hurt this team long term. I also wonder how sold on Jimmy G Sin is. If he is not another veteran on the market like we talked about with Denver and Cam. Could Rivers be a fit possibly if he fizzles out in Indy?
Buccaneers $51,600,507 Alot of the Bucs future will be determined by what Gronk and Brady do. If they retire this team is cleary going towards a rebuild to try and salvage the rest of the cycle. If not they are then trying to find the players they need to complete the fairytale ending for TB12. I expect them to be agressive and spend even if it is not smart long term in order to give Brady the best shot at winning now. OJ Howard, Justin Evans, and Chris Godwin all need extensions muddying this water already. The Bucs will be ready to compete but will need to stretch this money out to make the best of thier roster.
