Seahawks |
$70,189,985 |
With very little in terms of young players to sign it may be coach Trent's time to go get the veteran player neccessary to compete in this conference as a whole. The Hawks have Wilson and some nice complimentry players on offense. They need some extra help on defensive line unless Clowney signs before we start. Wagner is getting older and this is no longer the Legion of Boom. A restock on defense is the key here for coach Trent as he goes into this offseason unless he decides to tear this thing down and start over. Then I could see Wilson fetching a hefty price as he has in the past and this free agecny being null and void for the Seahawks. |
Ravens |
$67,234,968 |
If this team spends this money in the right fashion retaining players and making the correct veteran signing they could easily win a few superbowls this cycle. Jackson is aboslutley electric and getting a defense with the supporting players on offense will be the theme of this free agency. Coach Blueprint will need to keep his assets close to the vest and spend wisely in this crop of free agency to acheive a long time goal of becoming an RZ Bowl champ. |
Dolphins |
$65,102,757 |
The Dolphins had their splashy offseason and 3 number 1 picks this offseason, so this will be about filling holes and making sure they have the cap space to continue to pay and retain their relevant players. Tua is on a rookie contract just like Herbert with the Chargers so it is time. Coach BM will need to get this offensive line into shape so a big signing there could be a huge contribution towards getting that running game going like he had it in Houston. The running backs would be the real winners in this situation, I expect the Dolphins to be in the pass rusher market as well during this free agency though I doubt they have the funds or a player out there worth the risk. |
Jets |
$63,792,412 |
The Jets depening on what happens with Jamal Adams are a team trying to build up but have some veteran contracts that are coming to back half. Moji is always making moves so I expect him to clear some more cap space in advnace of this offseason. I expect him to kind of turn over this roster and it should start this offseason. The Jets will surely move forward with Darnold and finding the offensive fire power around him will be a challenge for coach Moji. With Adams the Jets have some defensive piceces to build around, adding another corner in free agency woud be the move. |
Browns |
$59,651,443 |
This team has been one of expectation for a while now, can Prewitt step up and fufill those expectations? He will have about 60 million to work with depending on the status of Njoku or whether he gets traded or not. Either way fortifying this offensive line and getting some extra help on defense should be the focus of Prewitt in his first full cycle return. Myles Garrett will be due a mega extension cutting into this money but the other 2017 1st round pick the Browns had Jabrill Peppers is in New York with the Giants. Bottom line is coach Prewitt can compete with the Ravens if he is smart with the players he acquires here and fixes the holes on this roster. |
Cardinals |
$57,498,469 |
All of the 2017 draft picks by the Cardinals are question marks to come back, Budda Baker and Hassan Reddick being the top two picks. I do not expect Reddick to be back but Baker possibly. The Cardianls will need to get some pass rush help and likely will let Peterson walk if he has not been traded already. This defense is clearly in need of some TLC and will be the key in the prospects for coach Ramesu and his ability to win over the cycle. I think this money goes to some solid defensive players that enable coach to build on a talented offensive roster featuring Kyler still on a rookie deal and a prime Deandre Hopkins. |
