RZ 37 - Overrated, Underrated, Properly Rated – NFC

Philadelphia Eagles (12-1) – PROPERLY

At the top of the NFC and the defending SB champs, there’s only one way for them to go, and that is down. At this point, they show very little weakness or signs of slowing down, as they boast the top scoring differential (+203) while having the 5th hardest schedule. I think most of us would be shocked if they aren’t playing in this season’s Super Bowl.

Minnesota Vikings (10-3) – OVERRATED

The Vikings have the fifth easiest schedule in the league, and they are lacking any signature wins outside of the Lions twice. Losing three of their last 5 to the Rams, 49ers, and Jets is not the right direction you want to be headed as playoffs are around the corner.

Tampa Bay Buccaneers (10-4) – PROPERLY

This is a tough one. With Winston playing QB, they look capable of beating almost anyone. Their offense has been clicking this season, being top 10 in both passing and rushing. Their only weakness will be their defense. Ranking 28th in total yards, if they cannot stop the opposition, they may make an early exit in the post season.

Detroit Lions (10-4) – OVERRATED

Just like the Vikings, the Lions were gifted with an easy schedule as well, with the 2nd easiest in the league. They have only beat one team with a winning record, and that was the 8-5 49ers, who may not even make the playoffs. The other four games against teams with winning records were all losses. With a harder schedule, this team may not have made the playoffs.

New York Giants (10-4) – UNDERRATED

Put this team in any other division, they may only be a 1 or 2 loss team. Unfortunately, the Eagles get to hand them two losses each season. The offense is scary good when healthy, and luckily for them they may get Latavius Murray back just in time for the playoffs.

Washington Redskins (9-4) – PROPERLY

The Good – They were able to beat the Colts and Giants. The Bad – They are still the third best team in the NFC East. If Brockers can be contained, then you have a good chance of winning. The hard part about that is he is going to be a star in the league.

Los Angeles Rams (8-5) – UNDERRATED

Coach Chapstick has got to be the hardest guy to figure out. Some weeks, he looks like the best team in the league. Then once you gain trust in him, he collapses. Injuries to his defense may hurt their chances, but if they can just keep their composure, they may be the underdog team to root for to make a run. Or they might miss the playoffs. I don’t even know anymore with this team.

San Francisco 49ers (8-5) – PROPERLY

After being a bottom-feeder last season, the Niners have vastly improved their team, thanks to a few key Free Agent signings and the Ford Fusion© combo. While they are improved and constantly improving, I think they are still a year or two out from developing into a championship caliber team.
