Pick 'Ems
Field Yates - Record (1-0)
THE PICK: Saints (-3)
Yates' Take: "I’ll take the Saints. While Spencer has been playing very low-risk and controlling the ball, I believe this is his first real test this season and Trent will force him into making poor decisions and falling behind in the process. No one actually believes Kirk can keep this up, right?"
O.J. Simpson - Record (1-0)
THE PICK: Vikings (+3)
Juice's Take: "Vikings will squeak out vs the saints. They are not the better team but they are going to play more disciplined and controlled. Vikings will pull it out by 3."
Keyshawn Johnson - Record (1-0)
THE PICK: Saints (-3)
Keyshawn's Take: "Can the Vikings neutralize the efficiency of Jameis Winston? Jameis is completing 75% of his pass attempts and top 10 in YPA. Even if the Vikings load up to stop the rushing attack of Alvin Kamara, I think Jameis is the XFactor, making enough plays in the passing game to earn the victoryfor the Saints."
Donovan McNabb - Record (0-1)
THE PICK: Vikings (+3)
Donovan's Take: "We have seen Coach Jordan go on a serious streak before, and with the offensive weapons surrounding Cousins, there's no reason to think this isn't one of them. He's putting points on the board and the Vikings pass the eye test. While the Saints are also 3-0 and equally talented on offense, and even more so in defense, I just don't have enough background info and history on Coach Tent to know if this is actually his pedigree or just a flash in the pan."
Tom Pelissero - Record (1-0)
THE PICK: Saints (-3)
Tom's Take: In my opinion, this is the first true test for Minnesota, as the Saints have already proven they are legit by blowing out Tampa Bay and Carolina back to back. Minnesota's pass defense is among the worst in Red Zone, despite the big trade for Shaquill Griffin. Against a shockingly efficient Jameis Winston, I see the Vikes struggling to slow New Orleans. The battle I'm most excited to watch is the Vikings' rush defense versus Alvin Kamara. Give me the Saints by a touchdown.
