BREAKING - Jets looking to move off Greg Harris
Bleacher Report has learned that quarterback Greg Harris of the New York Jets has been placed on the trade block, and there have been conversations in the past few days that he will be one of the first major dominos to fall this offseason.
'Winning the Super Bowl last season really saved Greg Harris, the Jets were not happy with his play the firs two years of his career. He had been pretty underwhelming to that point,' a source within the New York Jets.
After defeating the Eagles in RZ Bowl 67, it seemed as the Jets have found their franchise quarterback, and were ready to make another run. It came to a screeching halt this year, with the Jets falling 38-0 in the divisional round to the Denver Broncos, that saw Greg Harris throw 4 interceptions.
'That really jump started the conversations. Mojica is not happy with Harris' play, he thinks there will be better options out there to win now.'
We will keep you updated as more information is gathered, but right now we are aware of a few teams in on the services of Harris, including Los Angeles (Rams) and Cleveland.
Speaking with a source close to the Jets, we know that New York will meet with Baker Mayfield and Carson Wentz once free agency begins.
Until next time, thanks for reading.
