10 Questions with Primetime - Coach Staley

Prime: Wassup RZ Nation. We got something different for you this week. Today we visiting the City of Brotherly Love. We got 3 Time Back to Back to Back SB Champ, Coach Staley! Wassup baby!?

Coach: You know, going over tape, plays and preparing to face New York Week 4.

Prime: That's wassup, man. I got 10 questions for you, Champ. You ready?

Coach: Yes sir, fire away!

Prime: Excellent, my man. So, 3 straight SB wins for you and the Philadelphia Eagles! How does it feel to be the very best team in the RZ 3 years running?

Coach: It's a blessing to have the success we've had over the past 3 seasons. We've kept the right players in place, found talent on Practice Squads, been lucky with injuries and protected the football well. If you game plan well, have a talented defense, protect the ball, it usually equals out to success and that's what it's been like this past 3 seasons. There are plenty of talented teams in the league, we are just lucky to be a part of that group.

Prime: Ok. So be honest, man. Are you the best coach in the RZ? And are you a HOF coach in your opinion?

Coach: Am I the best coach in RZ? I'd have to say no, there are multiple SB winning coaches in this league. To say I'm better than them would be disrespectful. I'll leave the HOF conversation up to my peers. I think I've been around long enough and have done enough, but if I haven't I haven't. Its fine, I’m just here to coach Football.

Prime: Nice, coach. I'm gonna say yes, and yes. I ain't shy. Haha! Is there more pressure on you, or less pressure on you to repeat again this year?

Coach: The pressure of going and winning the 3rd was a lot, I’d say the pressure has calmed from that. We don't need to prove ourselves I think, I know we are a good football team. We take the games one at a time, talking about a 4th this early is crazy.

Prime: Crazy. But I bet you and the boys be dreaming of that 4th Lombardi, man! Ha! Who do you think has the best opportunity to upset you as Champs this season?

Coach: I'd honestly say in the NFC, the 49ers, they are a different team than 3 seasons ago and they have a very great coach and defense. In the AFC, I’d say the Ravens again. We've faced them twice in three seasons in the Super Bowl. So right now they the team to beat in that Conference.

Prime: I agree, man. Both tough teams. But watch out for dem Jets, coach. So, man. What's your philosophy, brotha? What's gotten you to this level of Domination?

Coach: Patience. Watching plenty of game tape on your opponent. Defense. Trying to get the run game going. Ball security and control the clock. Etc., Etc.

Prime: What's it gonna take for you to 4peat? What's your biggest focus or opportunity to improve?

Coach: We need to adjust to our new offense that we added this year. We need Wentz to be more accurate and we need the offense to just open up. We've struggled offensively this season. Fix that and we may have a shot at at least the Division.

Prime: Who's your favorite player on offense and defense, NOT wearing an Eagle uni, bruh?

Coach: My favorite player's not wearing the Eagles uniform, hmm. Well I’d say Jameis Winston. He reminds me of Carson. They both do well act protecting the football. Defensively, I’d say Von Miller. The way he just disrupts offenses. We'd love to have him here.

Prime: Famous Jameis and Don Juan Von Miller. Two of my favorites, man. Nice. If you had a chance to coach any other team today, which team would it be?

Coach: Well as a child my AFC team was Denver. Even played little league football for the Broncos. Was a blast, haha! So I’d say being able to coach Denver would be fun and interesting.

Prime: Mile High Staley. Haha! Ok. So I heard you had a very interesting conversation with the President after this year's SB. Can you tell us what it was about?

Coach: How did you find out about that, haha? Well yes, I’m big into the Super Volcano at Yellowstone. I usually check the news on it once a day. I asked what plans are in place for the future of our children and grandchildren if it does decide to go. Well you know the answer to that. He wasn't able to discuss, just patted me on the shoulder saying don't worry, we got it handled.

Prime: Haha! I got people, man. Haha! Good, man. Somebody gotta look at for the Children, Man! Ok. How many more Lombardi’s do you think you will get this cycle? You gonna give somebody else a chance to win? Haha!

Coach: Well our goal is to win every year, who's isn't really. We'd love to at least get one more before the cycle ends. Lol, yes we want to see other teams succeed and get a Lombardi. I bet it gets boring seeing the same team win it every year.

Prime: Haha! Only if you on the losing team, baby! Excellent, my man. I'm glad we put this together, man. You are one of the best to ever do it. I really appreciate you giving me your time, brotha. I know how busy you are running a Championship Team, baby!

Coach: Thanks sir, always a privilege to speak to a HOF player.

Prime: Hey man. My pleasure. RZ Nation! That’s it for our special episode of 10 Questions, with the Future HOF Coach, Duce Staley, and ME... PRIMETIME. Peace yall!
