Titans Introductory Presser

Good morning everyone! My plane just touched down about an hour ago and I can’t wait to get to see my guys. A few of them even met me over at the airport. I want to start this out by saying how excited I am to be coaching here in Tennessee. It’s a beautiful state that holds a lot of special memories for me already. I even got engaged over in Gatlinburg Tennessee. I’m hoping to make more memories here in Nashville. I’ll begin to take questions now.

Q: What’s the thing your most excited about and most nervous about going into this locker room?

A: I’m excited about a lot. We have arguably the best running back in football in Henry. We have a lot of guys who are hungry. I wouldn’t say I’m nervous about anything. I have big shoes to fill with the championship run coach Roc had but I’m confident we will have success in this division and hopefully see some playoff games.

Q: What’s your prediction for your time here in Tennessee? Do you have any goals already set or do you want to watch some practices first?

A: I think you’ll see some division titles coming to the Titans. We have some competition here but nobody I’m shaking in my boots about. No one around here is to be taken lightly regardless of who it is. As far as goals, last cycle it was to prove I belong. To some I did that and to others it doesn’t sound like it. Every year I look to make a statement. Apparently one playoff berth wasn’t enough so this year we have to come even harder.

Q: Did you hear what Too Many Takes host Jake Allen said about you on the reveal show? That you’re the 31st most valuable owner and you’ve proven that your terrible?

A: That’s what Jake does. He gives takes. Too many of them to be exact. That one probably was one of the ones he should’ve kept in the archives. I felt the same pressure in Cincinnati. I feel like I did better than a lot of people thought I was going to with that team. I’ll eventually earn the on field respect from everyone but until then they can keep counting us out and we can keep “upsetting” people.
