Coach Bird Week 2 notes

         Another tough defensive opponent this week. This time around our offense had better success. Eagles defensive coordinator has a lot of faith in CB Darby and left him alone on an island against Brockers which proved to be a mistake. Darby's aggressive nature turned against him 3 times with 3 very costly defensive pass interference calls trying to contain Brockers deep down the field that put us in great field position all 3 times.QB  Stanley Parks aka "Sparks" had a nice game picking apart this tough defense throwing 4 touchdowns. WR Hamilton was recipient of 2 of them. While the rushing attack wasn't great Ajayi and Floyd done enough to get the job done.

          It wasn't a good game for or run defense. We gave up 90+ yards each to the duo of Yeldon and Rodgers and 3 touchdowns. Our bend don't break defens did enough to contain the passing game.we had no real standout other than a solid collective effort by the whole defense on containing the pass. We have a lot to clean up before we play the aggressive passing attack of the Bears next week. 

Offensive standout: QB "Sparks"  20-28, 239 yards, 4 TD and 1 INT

Defensive standout: CB E. Campbell 5 tackles, 1 sack
