Coming out of the bye week at 4-3, the Raiders have cause for optimism.
After starting the season 4-1, with a huge road win over Baltimore, the Raiders fell in back to back games, to NFC West opponents on game winning field goals. The inability of the offense to sustain drives with 3rd down conversions and the overall conservative approach since Derek Carr went down vs. the Ravens have stalled the Raiders offensive attack and still it took last second FGs and some Antonio Brown heroics to defeat the silver and black.
With Carr returning soon after the bye, expect the Raiders to really have their foot on the gas and attack vertically in the passing game and use the light boxes created by the downfield attack to find Murray some creases down the stretch.
The defense has been great and Rashard Moten has been a standout star. Dan Williams and Alex Schlagel have been stout against the run. Lacy and Mack have gotten after quarterbacks. Expect the Raiders to be more aggressive on both sides of the ball as the season goes on.
