KC Review

Overview: After 2 weeks the Chiefs are sitting at 0-2. After a shocking week 1 loss to the Browns, lost a tough game to the Ravens 29-28. The team  as a whole played better but they have a long way to go if they want to live up to the expectations of the Fans.

Offense:  Can they move the ball absolutely. The Chiefs are in the top 10 in passing and rushing yards. They average 250 passing yards and 130 rushing yards. Unfortunately this is not translating to points. They average an abysmal 22 points a game good enough for 26th. Mahomes is struggling under his new head coach, who is known for his run first mentality. Patty is sitting at 46-73 for 529, but only 2 touchdowns to his 6 picks. This needs to be rectified soon. However, the run game is thriving Rookie Javian Hawkins is averaging 5.3 yards a carry to the tune of 211 yards adding on 4 touchdowns and 93 receiving yards(3rd on the team) this kid is a stud. Tyreek Hill has been a disappointment to this point with only a 7-86-1 statline with his longest catch going for 25 yards. The offense needs to bounce back in week 3.

Defense: The defense is who we thought they were. They struggle to stop the pass, they struggle to stop the run, and in week 1 they struggled to get after Baker. Frank Clark returned from injury to tally 4 tackles and 2 sacks. His presence made the defense look entirely different as they sacked Lamar 5 times, which was 5 times more than week 1. Sneed and Mathieu each added an interception. Which was also 2 more than the team had in week 1. The team was improved for sure but has a long way to go.

1st Half Season Predictions:

Week 3 vs LAC: 42- 31 Win

Week 4 vs PHI: 31-28 Loss

Week 5 vs Bills: 35-24 Win

Week 6 vs WFT: 52-38 Win

Week 7 vs Ten: 35-28 Win

Week 8 vs NYG: 42-24 Win

Week 9 vs GB: 31-17 WIn

Week 10 LV: 35-31 Win

By week 10 look for KC to go on a winning streak and be 7-3. But they have a lot of work to do before they can accomplish this task.
