Lions coach Matthew Madden was livid after the embarresment of a
game his team put on the field, and threatned to bench everyone if
this trend contiunes. Lions fumbled, stummbled, and handed the
Packers a easy win in front of the home crowd. the Packers, seen to
do as they wished in the game scorching the Lions for 500+ yards of
Offense.
Lions head Coach Madden left the field in a hurry, after the loss,
and was not very open in the post game interview, just stating we
have...
The Lions came into the game on a two game losing streak, and a
heartbreaking lose to the LA Rams.
The familiar divsion foe Chicago Bears were the ones up next and
both teams at 0-2 someone had to come out a winner.
The Lions lead by Brent Blalock lead the offensive charge, and got
things rolling getting the team in the endzone not once, not twice,
but 4 times in the endzone.
The Lions entered the week 1 game with high hopes that QB Brent
Blaylock could lead his team to a victory, but that effort would
fall short.
The Lions offensive woes continued from last season as the team
struggled to cement a running game for the young signal caller. FA
RB Jay Ajayi had a very rough game to start the season, and if not
for a late 30 yard run in the 4th he would have totaled a mere 12
yards for the game.
Coach Matt Madden had this to say afte...
The Lions turned in a solid draft Sunday night selecting, two
blue chip players in QB Blaylock, and RB Spurlock. The Lions seemed
"locked"in (pun intended)
both players are top rated players at their positions, and could be
real Game Changers before the seasons over. There were some other
picks later in the rounds, but these two are in the spotlight of a
hurting franchise that needs help regaining some of its former
glory.
Things still remain unseen...
