Titans Swarm High-Powered Browns 36-17

The Tennessee Titans travelled to Cleveland this week to take on the scary Cleveland Browns offense that put up 35 points and put up over 500 yards last week.

The Titans were able to claim an early 10-0 lead after stifling the Cleveland offense for much of the first quarter. Cleveland was able to get a field goal before Tennessee grabbed a 17-3 lead in the 2nd quarter. Cleveland was able to put together some offensive drives before the half and trailed 20-10 going into the half. Tennessee stretched that lead to 27-10 before Cleveland was able to draw the score to 27-17. 

There would not be another touchdown scored in the game, but Tennessee kicker Jordan Gay would add on 3 more field goals before the game ended. 

Tennessee's defense was able to pick off Johnny Manziel 5 times over the course of the game, while only allowing a modest 262 yards and a single TD pass. 

Marcus Mariota had the breakout performance that coaches and fans were hoping for in week 1 during this weeks game, as he threw for 338 yards, 2 TD's, and 1 INT. 

Tennessee hosts Indianapolis next week for their home-opener and division-opener.
