The Tennessee Titans traveled to the bay to meet the Baltimore Ravens for their week 7 matchup, and it was probably one of the worst performances they've had all season. The Ravens defeated the Titans 26 - 14 in a game that truly was never even that close.
The Titans offense struggled all game to produce points, mostly due to the poor play of Marcus Mariota. Mariota shelled out what was undoubtedly his worst performance of the season as he ended the day with five interceptions. His poor decision-making led to Baltimore dominating with time possession as well as putting up easy points. When the Titans attempted to lean on their running game it just couldn't support the burden, as spell back Jacoby Levy struggled in the starting role in Darius Jackson's absence.
The Titans defense did their best to try to keep them in the game by causing four Baltimore turnovers. But once Baltimore had a comfortable lead late in the game they lean heavily on their rushing attack and the Titans defense just couldn't keep up their efforts. For every turnover that they caused the Titans failed to capitalize and instead countered it with their own turn over by Mariota.
This season has quickly began to spiral out of control and has all the makings of a repeat substandard performance by the Titans, just as they've done the past three seasons. Coachy McCoachface has a lot of work cut out for him if he expects this team to get it together. They host the Cincinnati Bengals in week 8.
