Rams Clinch NFC West Title

With Wednesday night's win over the Buffalo Bills (33-27), the Los Angeles Rams ended the season with a 14-2 record. The win also gave the rams a #2 seed in the NFC playoffs and the NFC West title. The fans and front office are excited to see the Rams back in the playoffs after missing out last season. Coach Dawson went over the regular season statistics during Friday’s media conference.

Jared Goff were able to make the pro bowl despite missing 5 games this season. Goff vastly improved his QB rating (66.7 to a 114.5) and his td/int ratio (12-26 to 20-9). When Collins went down in the early part of the season, Rams relied on backups, Luke Cheek & Gregory Hillis, both backs had over 150 rushing attempts and 800 yards rushing with a combined 15 tds. DeAndre Hopkins eclipsed the 1000 rec yards before he went down with a knee injury in week 16. Hopkins was the first Rams’ receiver to eclipsed 1000 receiving since season 69.

While Aaron Donald didn’t reclaim his sack crown, he did end up with 20.5 sacks. This will be his fourth straight season with at least 20 sacks.
