Rams Offseason Report: Part 1
After failing to make the playoffs in season 71, the Rams’ front office is starting to make moves which they are hoping will get them back in the playoffs. The first day in offseason, Rams and Texans agreed on a blockbuster deal that sent three veterans (JJ Watt, DeAndre Hopkins, Reshad Jones) and a 5th round pick to Los Angeles. In exchange, The Texans received Nikloss Garcon, Matt Hurns, and Rams’ 1st round pick. With the trade, Coach Dawson was able to add talent to both sides of the ball.
Rams had three players who retired at the end of season 71; Clay Matthews, Julian Edelman, Tamba Hali.
