Los Angeles Gets Ready for Offseason
The Los Angeles Rams came into week 14 with a slim chance of making the playoffs but was quickly shut down after a poor offensive performance against the San Francisco 49ers; throwing 7 interceptions in a 28-12 loss. Currently the offense is ranked 22nd in total yards with Goff having 10 passing touchdowns and a total of 26 interceptions. There have been much talk around Los Angeles that Coach Dawson will focus on refreshing their playbook during the offseason.
Aaron Donald was on a slow start in the beginning of the season, only recording 5 sacks in the first 8 games. He since has been on a tear and now currently leads the league in sacks with 18. Since the Rams’ playoff hopes are shot and only two games left, the coaches has decided to give some backups more reps to determine if the front office will need to make any necessary changes in the offseason. Trey Flowers had his first start against the Arizona Cardinals in week 15, recording his 4th sack of the season.
Rams will stay home for the last two games, facing off against the Panthers and Cardinals.
