Cards do nothing correct except turn the ball over against Pats

The NE Patriots came to Arizona, looking to show how much of a powerhouse they are and the Cards were left holding the bag. Cardinals provided their crowd with a new coach, a new quarterback and a new scheme - yet nothing went right. Out manned and out blitzed, the Cardinals had no answers for the Patriots defense, which caused 2 turnovers.

Cardinals struggled in every aspect of the game, special teams, offense and defense. On special teams the Cardinals struggled getting their punting done correctly and had zero opportunity to get return yards on every return. The Patriots swarmed them well in the special teams.

The Cardinals defense also struggled with the outside runs. Big lanes were open late and the Cardinals defense looked out of gas, from being on the field all day long. Cardinals #2 CB Williams really struggled finding his grasp on the new starting role. He was abused all day and the Cardinals gave up big play after big play.

Cardinals offense was no better. The blitzing scheme of the Pats was all over Johnson and the running game. With no running game there was no balance and no opportunity to set plays up. The Cards offense struggled finding some traction. Brown had a really nice day receiving but he was the only bright spot for a really down day.

Pats run the Cards crazy with a 30-0 victory. Cards will look to bounce back this week against the up and coming TB Bucs.
