Tampa's Exhale
RECAP
After weeks of shooting self in the ass Brady got much needed luck to survive end of season as 2 cornerstones played themselves and bolted from one of the greatest leagues for Madden simulation. So fast forward to Week 17 and the Bucs barely escaped Atlanta with the win, poised to win based on DL simulation of the game turned into a slugfest late between 2 quarterbacks hell bent on making some noise in their respective careers.
For Ryan it was playing spoiler, and for Winston it was finally getting things together. As for Winston days could be numbered if he doesn't stay the course and produce weekly in a positive way, because McNeal is just waiting his turn to explode to lead this team.
But this game would be the culmination of the running game, Thomas / Rainey would set the tone and push the Bucs in position for possibly their 1st playoff birth under the Brady regime. Rainey/Thomas would combine for 27car 193yds 4td's none from long range cause the Falcons defense was stingy enough to keep them at bay from busting any big runs. When asked if pushing the rock was the key Brady gave a stern look and said "this is the year of Thomas" in reference to the RB chasing the rushing title, and hoping this performance was enough to keep others at bay. Winston had an okay day 15/22 192yds 1int, he also chimed in on the running game 3car 25yds .

Stay tuned as this is a current snapshot of our playoff hopes and we hope to update you with great news out of Tampa
