Bills Jump Out to 2-0 Start After Disappointing 2017 Season
The Buffalo Bills have outscored their opponents 64-9 through the first two weeks of the season and have looked great on the offensive side of the ball with added offensive line help and the additions of Antonio Brown and Charles Sims as offensive weapons.
Buffalo took on the New York Jets in week one in what turned out to be a blowout win for last season's division champions as they walked away with a 37-0 win on the back of two pick sixes by the Buffalo defense. One from newcomer Jeremy Cash and the other from Veteran LB Zach Brown in what could be his final year as a starter for the Bills.
Buffalo's newfound offensive firepower got them out to a 31-0 lead at the half before they pumped the brakes and cruised to a win in the second half.
In week two, the Bills traveled to Nashville, Tennessee to take on the Titans at Nissan Stadium. The Titans were a trendy pick to play the Bills in the AFC Title game last season before their dreams were shattered by the wild card New England Patriots.
The Bills would start off hot against the Titans with Antonio Brown grabbing his first TD in a Buffalo uniform on the opening drive. The Bills would surrender a field goal in the ensuing drive, before taking it down and scoring on a 16 yard scamper by Charles Sims.
The Buffalo defense struggled in week two, giving up far too much yardage through the air and leaving Buffalo's defensive coordinator scratching his head to find some answers. The absence of Kevin Johnson hurt the Bills in week two, as Zack Sanchez struggled to lock down Tajae Sharp while Ronald Darby covered the quicker receivers.
Buffalo's home opener will be against the division rival Miami Dolphins in week three. Miami enters having lost their last four matchups to the Bills, but a new QB may be the answer for the Dolphins in week three.
