Bills Capitalize on Opportunities, Defeat Dolphins 34-21

The Buffalo Bills took to the road last week as they took on the division rival Miami Dolphins. The Bills were able to come out of Miami with a win, despite defensive struggles and a lack of a running game. Miami runningback Kenyan Drake ran all over the Bills defense, causing some changes to be made on the defensive side of the ball for Buffalo.

Despite the struggles to stop the run, the pass defense continued their hot-streak, hauling in five interceptions. Reggie Ragland and Deone Bucannon had two interceptions apiece, while Kevin Johnson hauled in his second INT in as many games.

Brett Hundley threw one interception on the day for the Bills, but he played a solid game in spite of the pick and really was the X-Factor on the offensive side of the ball, throwing for over 250 yards and rushing for another 25+.

Brandon McManus booted through his fourth 50+ yard FG of the season and now has 13 total made field goals in as many tries on the year.

In trade news, the Bills decided to make a change at the running back position after Darius Jackson's struggles through the first few weeks of the season. Jackson was the Offensive Rookie of the Year last year, but never found his stride in year two and found himself being traded to Tennessee in exchange for Derrick Henry and Tennessee's 2nd round pick in the upcoming off-season. Henry, on paper, appears to pair well with Tyler Ervin as a thunder-and-lightning duo in the backfield.

Buffalo plays host to Tyrod Taylor and the Kansas City Chiefs this week. The Chiefs have played arguably the toughest schedule in the OMFL this season and held close in every game. With the Bills scrambling a bit to "find themselves", the Chiefs could surprise the OMFL this week and walk out of Buffalo with a win.
