Bills Stifle Steelers, Win 26-0
The Buffalo Bills were able to shut down a high-powered Steelers offense this week in a 26-0 victory in which the Steelers were held to 52 yards of total offense and just three first downs. The Bills had demonstrated the talent to play defense at this level, but had struggled to do so until this week with some untimely errors in weeks past.
The run defense for the Bills stood out the most as they held the Steelers to just 3 yards rushing on the game, highlighted by -4 yards rushing by LeVeon Bell on 8 carries.
Offensively, Brett Hundley got the nod at QB for the fourth straight week, improving to 3-1 as the starter. He threw for 1 TD on 16 pass attempts and did not turn the ball over. Darius Jackson found the endzone on a rough day running the ball, while Dan Carpenter hit four FG's, including one from 56 yards away.
The Bills host the Browns next week and will continue the hunt for the AFC East title as the Patriots sit just ahead at 12-1.
