LT Griffen Barclay   6'4"  308 lbs.   Cincinnati    74 ovr

Griffen Barclay played RT at Cincinnati but is being moved to the left side of the line to serve as veteran All-Pro Joe Staley's backup.  He's solid in run blocking and should make an impact in the running game if he takes the field.  He is very quick off the snap with 86 acceleration, which will allow him to get outside quicker and set the edge on any outside running plays.  He is still a project when it comes to pass protection, which the 49ers will work with him on to get him up to speed if he ever has any hope of usurping Staley as the starter.
