49ers Sign Former Titans GM
The San Francisco 49ers have become the doormat of the NFC West and owner Jed York doesn't like it. Just 3 years removed from a Super Bowl trip, the 49ers have had a major downturn. Their new GM, Ducks, has some ideas for this team to right the ship.
The first order of business was to clean out the cupboard of bad contracts and old age like Vernon Davis, Jerome Simpson, and Antoine Bethea. The second step was to go out and find a WR to remedy the horrid pass offense in San Francisco and give Colin Kaepernick some WR's to throw to.
The 49ers have made some shifts defensively and have moved Navorro Bowman to OLB and Cory Lemonier to MLB. Arik Armstead moves to DT and will have Tank Carradine and Quinton Dial at the DE spots to shore up one of the stronger points of this team.
The offensive line for the 49ers will struggle at first, but should improve over the course of the season. With one of the best GM's in the league taking over this squad, the future is looking up for the 49ers once more.
