The Titans' rollercoaster season has continued, with the team now back up to .500 after a crucial win over the Kansas City Chiefs. The team has some impressive wins on the season, having beaten likely playoff teams such as the Raiders and Colts. They have also had equally impressive losses, losing to a Jaguars team that currently only has 1 win on the season, as well as being blown out multiple times. The Titans' offense has cooled after a relatively hot start, falling to the bottom 3rd of the league in most categories. The defense has been consistently atrocious, although they are defending the run well as they currently have the 2nd best rushing defense in the league based on yards per game. All one has to do to get a sense for the team's inconsistency this season is to look at the Quarterback position. QB Dak Prescott currently has more INTs than TDs thrown on the season, yet has also had multiple performances where he had a near perfect QBR, leaving fans and coaches alike scratching their heads at his inconsistent play. Searching for positives, the team's running game has been solid yet again spearheaded by former Heisman winners Derrick Henry and Marcus Slay. The team's most recently drafted former Heisman winner, WR Devonta Smith, has started off his career very well, ranking 2nd on the team in most receiving categories and leading the team in receivng TDs. On the defensive side of the ball, rookie Kenny Ewing has continued his stellar play, currently 2nd on the team in INTs and tied for the team lead in TFLs.
