MSR M22 Season 1 and Overall Cycle Predictions

Here are the season 1 and overall M22 cycle predictions by MSR.

 

Thank you to the 25 people that voted. (# in () is how many votes they got). Season 1 predictions:

 

Super Bowl Winner:

  1. Chiefs (7)
  2. Bears (6)
  3. Packers (4)

 

Super Bowl Loser:

  1. Chiefs (13)
  2. 49ers (3)
  3. Vikings (2)

 

Well people are pretty confident in the Chiefs at least making the Super Bowl. Seems to be a lot of disagreement on who will lose the Super Bowl though.

Highest Scoring Team:

  1. Chiefs (8)
  2. Vikings (5)
  3. Bears (3)

 

Well I don't think anyone is picking the Chiefs to make the Super Bowl because of their defense.

 

Least Points Allowed:

  1. Browns (4)
  2. Bears/49ers (3)
  3. Colts/Packers/Panthers/Skins (2)

Lot of variety in answers on this one. Looks like the NFC is expected to have some dominant defenses though.

 

NFC Playoff Teams:

  1. 49ers (22)
  2. Bears (21)
  3. Cards (20)
  4. Vikings (19)
  5. Packers/Giants (18)
  6. Bucs (13)

 

Every team received at least 1 vote with all but 2 receiving at least 3 votes.

 

AFC Playoff Teams:

  1. Chiefs (25)
  2. Ravens/Titans (20)
  3. Pats (19)
  4. Browns (16)
  5. Colts (14)
  6. Dolphins (12)

 

That's right, the Chiefs are the only team that everyone expected to make the playoffs. In one of the best divisions in MSR, we'll have to see how they respond to the pressure.

Most Improved User:

  3. Bills/Bucs/Chargers/Eagles/Panthers (2)

 

Lot of variety in this one with Samoan winning out. Surprised the Chiefs didn't get more votes, maybe people think the AFC is just weak, hmmm.

 

User That Takes the Biggest Setback:

  3. Panthers/Pats/Steelers/Vikings/49ers/Bears/Chargers/Chiefs/Dolphins/Eagles/Giants/Jags (1)

Despite some calling the Lions an elite Madden team, it appears not everyone trusts their user. Otherwise, much disagreement on who will have a setback.

 

Teams Most Likely to Win At least 1 Super Bowl:

  1. Bears (19)
  2. Vikings (17)
  3. Lions/Chiefs (13)

 

So 11 people think the Lions will have a setback and 13 think they'll win at least 1 Super Bowl. What does the other think? NFC North galore though here.

 

Teams Most Likely to Win At Least 2 Super Bowls:

  2. Chiefs (5)
  3. None (4)

 

So people think this and yet the Chiefs didn't win most improved user vote? Certainly interesting.

 

Most Undervalued Team in Team Selection:

A little suprised that the Cowboys won this but then again, how many Cowboys fans are in MSR?

 

Most Overvalued Team in Team Selection:

  3. Falcons/Jags/Cowboys/Cards/Bucs/Bears/Seahawks/Steelers (1)

 

Didn't the Falcons go like pick 30? That was overvaluing them? lol

 

Who Will Regret Picking Their Team the Most:

  1. Lions (11)
  2. Jets/Jags/Bills/Pats (2)
  3. Phins/Colts/Chiefs/Chargers/Bucs/49ers/Texans/Seahawks/Rams (1)

 

The Texans literally went pick 32. How will they regret picking a team they didn't pick? Hmmm.
