These are the full results of the MSR Superlatives, including results to questions not revealed on NDP live.
Thank you to all of those that voted.
Best Passer:
1. Broncos
2. Colts
This should come as no surprise as both teams were consistently near the top in the major passing categories. The Colts were very high in yards and TDs, meanwhile the Broncos were high in yards and TDs and maintained a low int total.
Best Runner:
1. Dolphins
2. Eagles
There's a reason both of these teams are run first. Everyone knows they want to run the ball and they come in and still run it down your throat every week. The dolphins just stretched the ball a little more down the field than the Eagles according to most people.
Best Offense:
1. Eagles
2. Broncos
They both did it in a little different ways, but both teams proved throughout the cycle that they can score with the best of them.
Best Run Defense:
1. Eagles
2. Browns
The Eagles don't just know how to run but they know how to stop the run as well.
Best Pass Defense:
1. Rams
2. Browns
A lockdown corner like Jalen Ramsey and elite passer rusher like Aaron Donald will give an offense nightmares. Combine that with great gameplanning and there's little you can do.
Best Defense:
1. Rams
2. Browns
The Browns were 2nd in all the defensive categories. Showing that no matter what you do, they'll be ready to stop you.
Benefitted the Most from Abilities:
1. Rams
2. Browns
Both teams had some great abilities on both sides of the ball.
Luckiest User:
1. Broncos
2. Eagles/Pats/Colts
Interesting to see here, 4 of the teams that made the Super Bowl were voted the luckiest. Each certainly had some moments that may of helped them get there.
Most likely to come back from a big deficit:
1. Colts
2. Broncos
The game is never over no matter the score when you play these teams. His ways may be controversial but it appears the GGs before half often do prevail in the end.
Team you least want to be down early against:
1. Broncos
2. Colts
The reverse order of the last question. The Broncos are less likely to turn it over so it makes sense for them to win this. Meanwhile its hard to keep the Colts from scoring once they get going.
GM of the Cycle:
1. Broncos
2. Browns
Both teams were not only excellent at developing players but made great strategic trades.
User that overperformed the most:
1. Pats
2. Broncos
Both teams were among the leaders in luckiest user as well. Wondering if this means people think their luck made them perform better than they should of.
User that underperformed the most:
1. Raiders
2. Vikings
Both users had high expectations coming into the cycle. While both still had a good cycle, it may not of been as good as many expected.
Most Frustrating User to Play:
1. Colts/Texans
2. Eagles
Some say it's only fitting that both of these teams tie for 1st on this. All 3 teams make sense tho, Colts and Texans put up a lot of points and the Eagles don't let you score a lot of points.
Most Stacked Team:
1. Browns
2. Broncos
It's no surprise that the top GMs had the most stacked team. They wouldn't be a top GM if their team wasn't stacked. Although interesting that the Broncos are in this, luckiest user and still ended up winning a major award that will be named later.
Team people least wanted to win:
1. Broncos
2. Rams
I guess people just didn't want these teams to win because they did it so much.
Team people most wanted to win:
1. Cowboys
2. 49ers
Ironically, the Broncos almost got 2nd place in this too. So they have a lot of fans and haters at the same time apparently.
Most 1-dimensional team:
1. Cardinals
2. Ravens/Phins
The cardinals were very 1-dimensional they threw a lot of INTs and not many TDs. Oh wait, I think people meant they were a very run-heavy team, that would make more sense. All 3 of these teams were very run-heavy, Phins just didn't stretch it out enough to win this along with best runner.
Best Overall User:
1. Broncos
2. Eagles
Maybe a bit of recency bias, but these teams fought until the end of the cycle. Both teams won 2 titles and made 3 of them.
Best Primetime Commentator:
1. Timbo
2. Payne
It was to no one's surprise that Timbo won this. If John Facenda is the voice of the NFL, then Timbo is the voice of MSR.
Best Twitter:
1. Jets
2. Cowboys
The Jets user always provided great news and recaps of all that was Jets for the cycle.
Best Content:
1. Cowboys
2. Browns/Rams
Rather it was his articles, twitter, graphics, or something else. The Cowboys had it all this cycle when it came to content, with elite quality in all entities.
What do you think? What did MSR get right and what did MSR get wrong?
