MSR M21 Season 1 & Cycle Predictions

M21 is finally here! Here are the season 1 and cycle predictions MSR had.

 

Thank you to the 23 that voted, lowest I've ever had in this, hopefully that will change. (# in () is how many votes they got).

 

Super Bowl Winner:

1. 49ers/Bucs (8)
2. Saints (2)
3. Chiefs/Eagles/Rams/Texans/Bills (1)

 

Super Bowl Loser:

1. Browns (5)
2. Chiefs (4)
3. Colts (3)

 

Well if this is true at all, the NFC conference championship will be the real Super Bowl. Nonetheless, MSR predicts a 49ers/Bucs vs Browns Super Bowl with the NFC representative coming out on top.

 

Highest Scoring Team:

1. Bucs (11)
2. Chiefs (6)
3. Raiders (3)

 

No surprise here as the loaded Bucs squad comes out on top.

 

Least Points Allowed:

1. 49ers (8)
2. Eagles/Dolphins/Cowboys/Chargers (3)
3. Broncos/Colts/Vikings (1)

 

Following the trend, no surprise again as the loaded 49ers win this one. Although the lowest overall team in the game tied for 2nd is interesting.

 

NFC Playoff Teams:

1. 49ers (22)
2. Bucs (21)
3. Eagles/Saints (20)
4. Cowboys (17)
5. Vikings (15)
6. Rams (12)

 

Every team got at least 1 vote, and all but 3 teams got at least 5 votes. Lots of teams that people believe can make the playoffs.

 

AFC Playoff Teams:

1. Chiefs (20)
2. Colts/Raiders (19)
3. Browns (18)
4. Dolphins/Bengals (15)
5. Chargers (11)

 

Every team but 2 got at least 3 votes, and all teams got at least 1 vote. Looks like there is no firm belief on who the 7th team will be.

 

Bye Week Teams:

2. Bucs (8)
3. Colts (7)

Looks like MSR predicts the 49ers and Colts to get the bye weeks, since the NFC can't have 2.

 

Now onto the predictions for the cycle.

 

Most improved team from M20:

1. Cowboys (9)
2. Steelers/Chargers (2)
3. Dolphins/Jets/Rams/Ravens/Saints/Vikings/Bengals/Bills/Cards/Colts (1)

 

Runaway winner here with the Cowboys are the favorite to improve the most this cycle.

 

Team that takes the biggest setback from M20:

1. Dolphins/Eagles (4)
2. Broncos (3)
3. Chiefs/Cardinals/Ravens (2)

 

Honestly not sure why/how people think a couple of these teams will take a setback.

 

Teams most likely to win at least 1 Super Bowl:

1. 49ers (19)
2. Raiders (15)
3. Bucs (14)
4. Colts (13)
5. Browns/Cowboys/Eagles (9)

25 teams got at least 1 vote here! Another 18 got at least 2. Looks like we could have a lot of new winners this year.

 

Teams most likely to win multiple Super Bowls:

3. Bucs (4)
4. Chargers/Chiefs/Cowboys/Raiders (2)
5. Dolphins/Redkins/Saints/Bills (1)

 

Looks like most people think the SB winners this year won't be as repetitive as they were last year.

 

Most undervalued team in team selection draft:

1. Saints (7)
2. Chiefs/Chargers/Steelers (3)
3. Skins/Raiders/Pats/Jets/Colts/Bucs/Titans (1)

 

Interesting to see that most people think AFC teams were undervalued in the draft, outside of #1.

 

Most overvalued team in team selection draft:

1. Jags (8)
2. Broncos (4)
3. Bucs (3)

 

Then again, it looks like some AFC teams were also overvalued too.

 

Misc. Predictions for the cycle:

• Most people that picked their own team will realize they shouldn't of
• Bills>Dolphins for division titles
• Kolb Makes playoffs
• Juggz gonna make a playoff.
• 20 people stay all the way through the cycle
• A WR will win the positions first ever MVP of the entire league
• Henry Ruggs becomes all time receiving leader
• Season 1 will have a 16-0 and 0-16 season
• Falcons will make multiple playoff appearances.
• Most content ever in MSR cycle
• NFC will be a better conference than AFC
• Twayne wins 3 Super Bowls
• Joe Burrow will win OROY in MSR
• Only 1 team will win their divison every season.
• Tom Brady retires
• Phalco wins a division title
• Jags - best content creator
• Cowherd twitter will become a favorite.
• More than half of the league will become content creators
• AFC will be better than NFC
