Something not normaly heard of in the past for years for the Tampa Bay organization "Playoffs".

The Buccaneers improved to 10-6 with a late drive win over the Lions. Buccaneers came out flat down 21-0 with three minutes to go in the 2nd quarter. Finally, Trubisky connect with Godwin on a long TD pass and then Ronald Jones found the endzone for the first time with a 1-yard run. Matt Gay followed with a missed PAT. Halftime score 21-13 DET.

First half the Bucs defenese could not stop Ty Johnson or Kenny Galloday. The second half Ronald Jones broke free for a 30ish yard touchdown to narrow the gap to 21-19, with the 2pt conversion unsucessful. Late in the 3rd quarter, Matt Prater set up for a FG and missed wide right. Ending the 3rd quarter Ronald Jones scored on another TD, with a missed PAT by Gay leaving the Bucs up 25-21 starting the 4th.

Midway through the 4th quarter Matt Gay redeemed his previous PAT failures connecting on a 58 yard FG putting the bucs back up by 7. 28-21. But that wouldn't stop the Lions, they marched down the field and capped off the drive with a Screen pass from Ware to Johnson to even the game up at 28 all with 4 minutes left. Following the touchdown drive the Bucs were not able to capitalize on their next opportunity going 3 and out and punting back to the Lions with 2 minutes remaining. 3rd and 2 with the Lions driving, they ran the ball to pick up the first down. Devin White met ty Johnson in the hole and stripped him giving the Bucs over the 50 yard line. Bucs and Trubisky managed to pick up a first down, setting them up for the game winning FG. Trubisky brought the troops out for one last play to atleast take a shot at the end zone. Trubisky hiked the ball and tossed the game winning touchdown to Evans.

When asked on the playcall, Shaw HC of The Bucs said "Our kicking game had been struggling and missed a few extra points, we had 8 seconds and 2 timeouts left so I figured we would take a shot to get a closer FG, our players just executed better then I imagined."

The lovely Erin Andrews asked Trubisky what happened on the last play " I saw the Safety over top drop down leaving Slay Jr. one on one with Evans. I decided to send Mike on a screen and throw it up to him and let him do the rest. Like usual he did not disappoint."

This was a big win for the Buccaneers giving them the potential to possibly move into the last playoff spot depending on how the rest of the week turned out. Shaw said "Hats off to the Lions, they preformed phenominally. Our guys overcame a lot of adversity and never gave up". Rookie Andre Ware put up some big passing numbers against us, connecting to Galloday who has a monster game, tallying 11 receptions and 240 yards. There was no stopping Ty Johnson for the most part of this game while the Lions pounded the Buccaneers on the ground, Johnson carried 23 times for 194 yards and 2 tds.

If the Buccaneers do make it to the playoffs they will need to address their rush td and tighten things up while limiting turnovers. Trubisky said "I have to be smarter with the ball and not get so rushed making my reads, three interceptions is to many in any game".

All in all the Buccaneers fan base is happy with a 10-6 winning season in the books. They now will be waiting to see if they can get into the playoffs and continue to cheer on their team.
