Bills Looking For an Answer, and they may have found one

Earlier this season the Buffalo Bills coach Footballa-Bailey was looking to make a push for the playoffs after missing out last season going 8-8, this season wasn't any better, in fact was a slight bit worse by allowing the Patriots retain the AFC East title for a 3rd season in a row. We sat down and spoke with coach Bailey and asked him "What do you think it's going to take to get these players into the playoffs and give them a shot at trying to win a Superbowl?"

Coach Bailey responded with " Well it all starts with the factor that we have been in full rebuild mode, we made some moves acquiring LE Lamar Houston 2 seasons ago, than we drafted CB Ej Kilgore and picked up a few other big names but the biggest issue so far has come to how the offense has been running. It all starts with the WR's we have, Sammy has been a HUGE asset to us and is only getting better by the year, but the rest of the team has been dropping too many key passes, our RB's Stevan and Lary have done a good job trying to get the job done on their end but have struggled as you can tell and I think this season they did very well. On the defensive side we had just made a big move that could help with the pass coverages."

Reporter: "You mentioned you had made a trade with the Seahawks to help solidfy the pass coverages, may I ask who or what you had sent and gained in return?"

Coach: "We as the Bills franchise found an ideal agreement to how we looked at this trade, we acquired all star CB Richard Sherman and WR Jermain Kearse while in return we sent CB Stephen Gilmore our 1st and 3rd round picks in next years draft."

Reporter: "With this trade do you think you have enough fire power to get this team into the playoffs?"

Coach: "I think with this trade it helps force other teams to try and beat us over the top or on the ground, Richard is coming in and will help be that shutdown guy that we so desperately needed. Jermaine will come in and will have to battle his way up in the depth chart and the answer to your question, I have no doubt in my mind that this team will fight til the end to make the playoffs for the first time in 3 seasons."

Reporter: "One last question, If you make the playoffs this season are we expected to see the Bills make it to the Superbowl?"

Coach: "I believe this team can get to the Superbowl if thats what they want, it won't be an easy task with all these other great coaches here in MBC but I believe in my guys and would like to bring a championship home to Buffalo"

Reporter: "Thanks for coming in coach and best of luck to you and the Bills next season"

Coach: "Thanks for having me.
