Week 3 Seahawks Bounce Back

After #SLEEPGATE, the Seahawks found themselves in a must win position. Coach Who Cares was overheard saying to his All-Pro OL: "We need two wins boys... Rams are in two weeks! If you can't block Eddie Goldman how are you gonna block (Aaron) Donald and (Ndamukong) Suh on the same damn play?!"

Unsurprisingly, Who Cares is looking forward to his conference rival as a test to see where this team stands. "Last season when the Rams came to Seattle, Petey Boy 'pooped the bed' per se. This year after some major shakeups I want to see where this new look team stands against a fully loaded, win-now Rams team."

Coach set a high bar for the Hawks to reach before their test against the Rams, but first they had to face a very very strong Cowboys team.

After a strong first quarter and playing with the wind the Seahawks found themselves quickly in an offensive slump, with two back to back drives ending in FGs inside the 2 yard line. When asked what caused the RZ struggles Who Cares cited the rainy conditions: "With how the weather was going, I just felt like being more conservative down there. All credit to the Dallas defense they stepped up to the challenge but I hope to see us bounce back down there next week."

Upon regaining the wind, the Seahawks took advantage by picking off two Dak Prescott passes late in the game. The first coming just one play after DangeRuss Wilson threw a RZ interception was by OLB Shaquem Griffin who returned the "lurk" to the 33. The ensuing drive was led almost exclusively by HB Rashad Penny who ran for 28 of 33 yards and the final TD of the game.

Finally the next drive the Cowboys had a chance to make it a 3 point game with a TD and plenty of time left on the clock. After a semi productive start to the drive, Dak threw a post route into Earl "Deuce" Thomas' zone and immediately regretted it. (Video below)

The Seahawks are sitting at a comfortable 2-1 and hope to continue the momentum into their next game vs the Cardinals and more importantly their game against the Rams.

Go Hawks
