The  former Superbowl contender turned into civil rights/political activist turned homeless couch potatoe  then reclaimed back into the league (after successfully winning his grivience case against the NFL) was offically released by the Detroit Lions today. The 31 one year old backup quarterback  still pocesses a strong arm and the wheels that led him to nearly win him Superbowl.
