Chargers shut out the Lions

The Chargers get a much needed victory to keep pace with the Chiefs(3-2),the Raiders(3-2) and the Broncos (3-3). This game was not very exciting as both teams struggled to score. The Lions blitzed over 75% of the time which gave old man Stafford a heart attack. The Chargers came into this game knowing the Lions like to air it out and their gameplan to blanket cover the receivers worked well. Man of the match goes to HB Gordon with 155 yards rushing. It was this man's efforts that allowed the Chargers to get into field goal range and get the 6 points they ultimately needed to win today.
