Giants Make Trade

The Giants have announced a trade. The have acquired MLB Avery Williamson from the Jets. The Giants are sending a 2nd and 3rd round picks, for Williamson and a 4th in return. Williamson will bring some leadership to this defense and hopefully help against the run. We are not sure where he fits on the team. The Giants are considering moving him to the outside. They like their core MLB they have with Ogletree and Rookie Connely. But perhaps one of them will move to the outside instead. The coach needs to evaluate each positions and make decision from their. So far the Giants have upgraded the FS position and now the LB position. What’s missing so far is a pass rusher. They will continue to look for one by means of trade, FA or the upcoming draft. Another position they are trying to improve is the outside CB. Jenkins is getting older and is in his last year of his contract. Decisions have to be made this off season.
