Preseason Outlook.

After a 3-1 start in the preseason, this team looks primed to take another shot at the coveted super bowl. With possibly the leagues strongest and deepest roster, look for these eagles to start strong in an attempt to strike fear into the NFC.  Many have high hopes for this team, as long as the injury bug stays at bay they have been projected for a 12-4 season.

Our offense is one of the leagues deepest but also one of the leagues oldest. The average age along our starting oline is 30 years old. Peters poses an issue at LT being 36 years old and was constantly in and our of games last season. First round rookie, Andre Dillard sits behind him in hopes of finding some starting time this year. On the outside we have Djax and Alshon, both up there in age as well. Thankfully JJ is learning from one of the  best big ball receivers in Alshon and UDFA Emmanual Hall can take some speed notes from one of the leagues best deep ball threats in Djax. Look for howard and carson to share the backfield load with a  little Sproles sprinkled in.

The defense will be the weakspot of this team, especially the secondary. There are plenty of viable DB options but no CB1 to speak of. Our defensive line will be the star of the show with fletcher cox, malik Jackson and Timmy J ready to rip up the middle and tear some heads off. Barnett and graham look to hold the outside down and stop any bounces. The LB are a work in progess and certainly patched together but Howie has always made it known that LB is not a thing this team worries about.

Age and Cap space are one of this teams biggest issues, if a superbowl emerges than none of that matters. But if things start to crumble it will be interesting to see how this team decides to respond.
