The Buffalo Bills won the first game under new HC Sean McDermott, 27-10 versus the Chargers in LA, with a great performance by a revitalized Jerry Hughes led defense. Now all the eyes are on a possible QB controversy starting to take place at One Bills Drive.
Incumbent starter Tyrod Taylor was struggling with turnovers before his injury. Rookie Nathan Peterman stepped in and, only in his second start as a pro, played a very efficient role in the latest Bills win, throwing for 209 yards, a TD and most important, no INTs. When asked about the the security of the injured starter, McDermott said: "Well we´re looking at everything. Tyrod's our starter. Nathan came in and did his job. He will continue to have opportunities and when the time comes we will make the right decision. It's a process".
The Bills travels to Kansas City to battle the Chiefs next week.
