Week 3
This week the Baltimore Ravens strolled into Chicago hoping to take the team over the .500 mark. The bears however had a different plan, taking a page from Ozzie Osborne in their Pre game warm-up Khalil Mack got the team hyped up by ripping the head off a Raven. (Don’t worry PETA it was fake). The bears walked out with their head up high defeating the ravens 37-3. After the game Coach congratulated the team on a great team performance.
Tarik Cohen lead the offensive charge today going 19-148-3. If it wasn’t for an offensive holding penalty that negated a 91 yard TD run, it would have been a record setting day for Cohen. Bortles looked sluggish and indecisive at best. But when you have two backs that complement each other so well in Howard and Cohen, who even needs a QB. Robinson made a highlight reel catch on a Hail Mary pass at the end of the half that sent the ravens to the locker room with defeat already in their eyes.
The defence was on another level today, promoting Good ol Goodell to start a PED probe against the Bears. With 4 ints on the day (2 - Jackson, 1 - Amos , 1 - Kwiatkoski) and a strip sack by Smith which was as recovered by Mack, this defence was humming on all levels. The bears had Jackson running for his life and fearing for his safety as they got to the young QB 9 times this game.
Next week brings the bears travel to Cleveland and will look to carry on the magic.
