Please see the rules and restrictions below: Choose 1 offensive player AND 1 defensive player you’d like to improve via an extraordinary offseason workout. Each owner will designate either:
Please keep in mind there are a few restrictions:
We are placing a 80 speed max for everyone EXCEPT RB, WR, CB. Those positions have a speed max of 85. You can use your story to improve skills as well, such as break tackle, route running, catching, tackle, coverage, etc. However, max is 90 for any attribute except speed like posted above. Example of what you could do:
No rookies allowed for offseason stories. Please just use this thread and reply below with your offseason stories. DO NOT create a separate topic. Let us know if you have any questions. Last edited by Theeeverbro (1544600207) |

WR Thomas Sanford told reporters he spent over 20 hours a week this offseason running routes and taking passes from veteran Derek Carr to work on their timing and improve his familiarity with the playbook. Sanford said, "One thing I didn't expect to come with mastering the playbook is less drops. I'm able to just play the game naturally now without thinking too much, and it's led to a lot less drops in practice." Catching +3 OLB Shaquem Griffin also talked to reporters after mini camp today, and seemed to have a glowing confidence about him. "Last year 9 picks was just me getting used to coach's cover 3 scheme. In college and in Seattle I was used more for my speed around the edge, so I've had to get accustomed to sitting back in coverage more and often had to rely on my athleticism to make up for me being out of place. Now that I've had a whole offseason practicing in the cover 3, expect double digits next year," he said with a grin. Zone coverage +3 |

After losing senior WRs Emmanuel Sanders and Demaryius Thomas, Courtland Sutton has taken matters into his own hands. He's been at Colorado's famous "Juice up" elite sports athlete training facility every day this off season - ready to take on the role as Tyrod Taylor's new number one target.
Since day 1, Bradley Chubb has been like a sponge, listening to every word Von Miller has been saying. That has continued into his second off season. He knows one day he's going to be the force Denver is relying on off the edge, and he's getting ready for the title. He is using Von's private trainer, and boy does that seem to be paying off, as he gets more explosive by the day.

Douglas Folston Worked all season catching passes from the ball shooty thing.
Minkah Fitzpatrick After playing like an all pro last season at FS Minkah has been taking reps in the slot corner position for Miami. Putting him up against Devante Parker alot who he almost immediately began to shut down.

QB Todd Schommer After spending some time this offseason with the GOAT, he learned that while it might not take him as many games to get to 1000 career rush yards, he will never get close to any passing records if he doesn’t learn to throw an effective deep ball. +3 DAC FS Duke Dawson Jr. After spending the last 2 season sitting behind a whiley veteran, Dawson Jr. finally gets his first chance to start. Learning of his new role, he has spent extra time in the film room learning of the opposing teams QBs tendencies. +3 ZCV |

offense: Center Bradley David was an unheralded superstar last year. The first rounder helped Melvin Gordon win his first MVP award and dominted interior lineman all season - enough to force the Chargers into a more run- heavy offensive style. David’s progression continued this offseason as he aims for his own Pro Bowl bid. David hit the weights extra hard and learned jiu jitsu as well. C Bradley David +3 RBK Defense: OLB Uchenna Nwosu took a big step forward last season, registering 9 sacks, up from just 2 sacks in his rookie season. A 2nd round pick in 2018, the Chargers have slowly groomed him to take Melvin Ingram’s right end spot. Ingram’s career high in sacks convinced Chargers management to pick up his 15.3 million dollar cap hit for this season, leaving LA with the awful, awful dilemma of having too many pass rushers. GM Dirty Curt has wept about this hardship many times but has vowed to find ways to keep Nwosu on the field even more than last year. Whether it’s at LB or DE, Nwosu has been training hard to take another leap forward and prove he’s ready to take on a bigger role. OLB Nwosu +3 FMV Last edited by illmatic717 (1544661584) |

Offense: 2nd year pro LT Isaiah Wynn has been learning from the OL coach how to pass block ever since he was acquired in a trade last year. However this off season the coach and player decided to focus on his power in the run game.
Defense: 3rd year 2 time pro bowler CB Shaquill Griffin has done everything this team has asked of him. That said hes a perfectionist and last year he had a couple dropped interceptions...Not this year. He caught 500 balls a day the entire summer working on his hands.
