Disconnections

It will happen from time to time, but trying to coordinate and replicate the Scenario before the disconnect is tough.

Allow Commish to set game situations in the event of a disconnect. We should be able to set the down/distance/possession/time/score for a disconnect. When a game loses connection in the final 3 minutes, some guys suggest restarting and playing 3 mins of the 1st quarter and quitting.

But in the clutch moments guys react differently. The clock stops differently at the end of the game. You can NOT accurately replicate that by playing the 1st quarter over.

Practice mode

Allow us to practice more game scenarios. Allow users to set the distance. You cannot practice a 3rd & 15 in pratice mode, you can't smart route a pattern 15 yards in practice mode.

Allow users a easier way of switching playbooks in practice mode. Shouldn't have to waste 4 minutes quitting, going to change playbook, and then waiting for it to load all over again.


CUSTOM PLAYBOOKS
whenever you use a custom defensive playbook, you lose almost every kick return plays. You only get kick return middle. Smart opponents know this and pin you to 1 side of the field and you can not change to a kick return right or Kick return left.

Would like to see everything that was in headcoach, and every aspect of what it takes to run a franchise practice squad ability to off ed the 1st Rd picks a option year to be able to redo contracts based on performance ability to scrimmage during preseason like joint practices with preseason opponent also a gm only franchise for us older players who don't have the stick skills to hang witj6younget players. and better rookie generated players

I would like it if they was to bring back the option of choosing defensive assignments during the game.

Hello...i would like to see yall do away with the tackle assistance button, tired of being tackled by a diving backwards player whn i turn the corner
Add da simulation concept for commissioners in cfm for games tht get disconnected
Add rookie mini camp/trainig camp to earn xp
Add custom relocation team names

I would like to see more movement on defense. Move the Lb's & Cb's around more. Make it look like a LB is gonna blitz from one side but plays coverage. Only time a safety moves up is on certain plays that you know the play called is a blitz.

There are many things I would like to see introduced in Madden 17.

1. More comprehensive contracts. 
-Players and teams initiate renegotiation of contracts in the NFL all the time.  Have the AI player ask to renegotiate their contract if they're still in rookie contract and are having a couple monster seasons.
-Make the bonus offered an actual one-time bonus and do not lump it in with the overall paid contract.  That give extra complexity to managing your team's finances.
-Allow Front, Flat, or Back loaded contracts so teams can choose how they want to spend money on a player's contract.
-Introduce a measurable player AI that determines what contract a player will sign for, if they are more interested in longevity or financial security or playing for a SB contender, etc.
-Player interviews would give a more immersive feel and give the ability to find out what a player's wants and needs are in terms of a desired contract.

2. Injuries
-Give player injury ratings that actually matter and dive deeper into the body parts.  If a player suffers a torn ACL then have a body graph showing his knee as an injury prone body part.  This may give coaches a second thought about signing or drafting the player.
-Introduce a wider variety of injuries to the game and make them track-able so coaches can see what major injuries have occurred in the player's career.
-Add a short term IR or designated for return list to allow for FA signing or training camp upgrade if an injury is suffered that is not season ending.
-Let coaches make game-time decisions on players returning from injury(possibly set up as out, doubtful, or probable).  Set up a risk/reward system so if a player is coming off a 5 week injury, in week 4 we can have a choice to have him play but it would risk him aggravating the injury further, and his normal ratings would be lower during that game.  And if he does not aggravate the injury in his return game, give him a confidence boost.

3. Drive Goals
-The introduction of drive goals was genius but there is still a disconnect between the game situation and the actual goal.  The drive goal should compliment the same situation therefore being something that is actually attainable.  It shouldn't be, down 14 points with 2 minutes left and the goal is "get 6 rushing attempts with your RB".

4. Game Prep
-Allow in-game prep for all positions, not just a select few.  Currently coaches can spend in game prep on specific positions, allowing for lopsided XP gain in only certain areas.  I would really like to be able to earn in-game prep XP on my offensive line and WR or HB if I wish.
-Make in-game prep deeper and introduce prep that reflects the name of the choice.  ie; Choosing to increase confidence to your WR because the upcoming defense's secondary is weak and a in-game situation opens with your QB targeting the WR in multiple situations.

5. Draft
-32 team CFM drafts are extremely difficult to schedule with all 32 coaches present.  Allow the coaches to manually set a draft board that would pick their desired players in the event that they could not make it to the draft. CPU drafted players are the worst.

6. Scouting
-Giving fictitious college stats could be another indicator, along with combine results, that would build or tear down a players draft status.
-I enjoyed having the scouted ratings from madden 15 which gave a "A?" result instead of a "B+" for a certain skill.  It would build realism to have a somewhat unpredictable skill rating going into the draft.

7. Penalties
-Illegal contact penalties are very real in the NFL but not in Madden 16.  Countless times has a user controlled defensive player ran into my receiver knocking him off route or delaying him, but no flag is thrown.  Introduce this penalty PLEASE!

8.  Scrimmages
-I would like to play a scrimmage game with some other teams in my league with the players we have drafted and signed.  Scrimmage games would be great if they were allowed to be played at any time.

I would like to see nano blitz and money plays being left in the pass this is madden not blitz 2000 lets make these players earn their victories

alot of good points i think the one i tend to want the most is being able to match up your top cb to their top threat whether wr or tight end that was something i use to be able to do and it makes it good chess match back and forth on how they are gonna get that wr open and have the one handed catches traits for only the wrs that usually do it which is really not alot in the game and if can make the interceptions a little bit easier to catch especially if the user is the one controlling the man

1. Multiple announcers. in cfm games that are on Thursdays have simms and nantz do the broadcast, on sunday night games have collinsworth and michaels, monday night games have gruden and tirico.

2. Take a sack. When you are being rushed and you have no where to run or no one to throw the ball to, you should be able to just press a button and fall down and just take the sack. This would prevent possible injuries and/or fumbles.

3. Defensive assignments. I would like to assign my best man coverage corner to shadow the others teams best route running wr or my fasted cb to shadow their fastest wr.

4. Practice squad. Kind of self explanatory, being able to sign players to the practice squad.

5. Rookies of the week. In cfm awards they should add rookies of the week along with the players of the week.

6. Offsetting penalties. would add more realism to penalties.

7. situational role players. For example assigning a rb (that has great catching and route running) to come in on all pass plays that have them going out on passing routes.

8. Pass rush trait/ stopping run trait. In the nfl there are certain dline players that are better pass rushers or better run stuffers. there should be an attribute to better distinguish that.

9. Scouting cfm. If the could bring back how the scouting was in 15, I liked being able to scout certain attributes.
