Colt came into Season 1 with a win now team under his belt. The Rams are loaded to start out the cycle and most of the league expected a better outcome out of Colt who finished the season 4-13.
THE MARV LEVY AWARD
(A dominant regular season performance but no luck in the playoffs award)
Chiefs (Prime)
Prime finished the season tied for 3rd in the league with the most wins ((13) on the season only to be knocked out of the playoffs in the first round of the playoffs by Dan.

Cardinals (Dump)
Just like much of last cycle, Dump continued his dominance on the offensive side of the ball leading the league in total yards with 6734 total, 285 more total yards than Field who finished in second.

Spades led the league in passing this season with 4727 total yards. 37 more yards than the closest opponent.
THE ERIC DICKERSON AWARD

Bomber led the league in total rushing yards with 2911 total, 746 yards more than the closest opponent.
THE JOHN FOX AWARD

Bomber led the league in scoring averaging 38.0 PPG, 3.5 PPG more than the closest opponent.
THE DAN MARINO AWARD

Dump led the league in total passing touchdowns on the season with 54 total, 8 more than the next closest opponent.

Bomber led the league in total rushing touchdowns with 39 total, 4 more than the next closest opponent.

For the first time ever since I’ve been posting these awards we had a HB lead the league in receptions. Charlie Checkdown (Colt) threw 78 passes to HB Cam Akers. 3 more receptions than Fazz threw to TE Dawson Knox (75). Further side note, the top 4 leaders in the SML in receptions this season were either tight ends or running backs.

Titans (Field)
Field threw to WR Julio Jones for 1732 yards in Season 42, 105 more yards than Spades threw to his TE Mark Andrews who finished second in total receiving yards.
THE RANDY MOSS AWARD
(Most receiving touchdowns during regular season)
Titans (Field)
Field’s WR Julio Jones led the league in total touchdown receptions with 22 total, 5 more than Prime’s wide receiver Tyreek Hill who finished with 17 total.
THE STEEL CURTAIN AWARD
(Fewest total defensive yards given up during regular season)
Buccaneers (Pauly)
Pauly finished the season with the best defense in the SML allowing only 4471 total yards on defense. Pauly edged out Meats, who finished second with 4663 total yards given up on the season.
THE MARVIN LEWIS AWARD
(Fewest defensive points allowed during regular season)
Buccaneers (Pauly)
Pauly gave up the fewest amount of points on defense on the season with only 287 (16.9 PPG) total. QP finished right behind Pauly only giving up 302 (17.8 PPG) total points on the season.
THE BUDDY RYAN AWARD

Cardinals (Dump), Saints (Klinke), Jaguars (Coop), & Raiders (Smitty)
This season we had a 4 way tie for most sacks in the league on defense. Dump, Klinke, Coop, & Smitty led the league in sacks on defense with 38 total.
THE SID GILLMAN AWARD

Chiefs (Prime)
Prime led the league in total interceptions on defense with 57 total. 14 more than QP who finished in second place with 43 total.
THE TOM BRADY AWARD
(Fewest interceptions thrown during regular season)
Chargers (Dan)
Dan led the league in fewest interceptions thrown with only 13 total. 1 interception less than Prime who threw 14 total interceptions on the season.
THE TOM CATLIN AWARD
(Most total defensive team takeaways during regular season)
Chiefs (Prime)
Prime led the league in total takeaways on defense with 60 total, 2 more than QP, who finished in second with 58 total.
THE PARTICIPATION TROPHY AWARD

Broncos (Finz)
Finz finished Season 42 with the fewest total yards on offense finishing with only 3659 total yards (2396 passing yards & 1263 rushing yards). Finz edged out KJ by 382 total yards who finished with 4041 yards total.
THE POLISHED TURD AWARD

Finz finished the season with the lowest scoring offense in the league averaging only 12.6 PPG. Finz beat out KJ by 4.0 PPG as KJ finished the season only averaging 16.6 PPG.
THE SWISS CHEESE AWARD

Titans (Field)
Field had an awful year giving up the most yards in the league on defense with 6568 total (386.4 YPG). That awful showing on defense beat out Spooky by 349 yards on the season with 6219 total yards given up (365.8 YPG).
THE DOORMAT OF THE YEAR AWARD

Spooky gave up the most points on defense in the league with 596 total on the season (35.1 PPG). The second worst team in the league was Rice who gave up 545 total points on the season (32.1 PPG) with his Patriots.
THE POWDER PUFF AWARD

Bengals (Spooky)
Poor Spooky only got 15 sacks with his Bengals defense in Season 42, the lowest number of sacks in the league. Spooky barely beat out Mike who only finished with 16 total sacks on the season.

Tiny led the league in Season 42 with 65 total giveaways (53 interceptions and 12 fumbles lost). Finishing in second worst place on the season, Woods threw 48 interceptions and lost 8 fumbles for 56 total.
