Steelers fumble away the game 27-24

The Steelers came out and snatched defeat from the jaws of victory.  Two huge fumbles left the door open for the Raiders and they took advantage.  The loss drops the Steelers to 3-1 going into the bye week before they face a tough stretch of division opponents.  Hopefully they can straighten things out during the time off.

Offensively, J.Rosen was a solid 268 passing with 1 touchdown and no interceptions.  Roman Whitlock was effective as well.  He had 80 yards and a touchdown on the ground, in addition to, 5 catches for 37 yards through the air.  Deon Traynor came out of nowhere to lead the Steelers with 6 catches for 130 yards and a touchdown.  Despite the big numbers, both Whitlock and Traynor are directly to blame for this loss.  Both players lost fumbles inside the red zone.  This is something that the Steelers hope to correct during the bye.

Defensively the Steelers had one thing in mind this week.  Stop Greer!  And for 95% of the game, thats exactly what they did.......and then they didnt.  Greer ended the game with 164 yards on the ground.  Nearly 150 of those yards came on 2 carries.  Devin Bush added another pick 6 on the season as well.

The Steelers now have 2 weeks to prepare for another top running back, as they face the Ravens when they come out of the bye.  Hopefully they can get things back in order, or else it could be an ugly game.
