Steelers move to 3-0 with Josh Rosen back under center.

Once again the Steelers come away with a victory since Josh Rosen returned from a broken collarbone.  This time it was against the 2-11 Dolphins who fell 42-24.  After trading quick scores in the first half, the Steelers were able to pull away in the second.  While the offense was humming, the defense will have some things to work on.

On offense, Josh Rosen led the way with a perfect quarterback rating, thanks to 14 for 15 passing.  He had 268 yards and 3 touchdowns in the win.  While that would be an impressive performance any other day, today he was outshined by rookie running back Roman Whitlock.  Whitlock made fantasy owners very happy this week.  He had 9 carries for 112 yards and a touchdown.  He also added 4 catches for 162 yards and 2 more touchdowns.  Whitlock has been just as much a reason for the Steelers recent success as Josh Rosen.

Defensively they needed to tighten things up in the second half, after allowing 21 first half points.  DeSean Whittaker wreaked havoc on the Steelers secondary, going for 166 yards and 2 touchdowns on 7 catches.  On multiple occassions, he was able to just elevate above the defender and come down with the big catch.  The Steelers seemed to get things figured out in the second half and there were some bright spots.  Devin Bush led all defenders with 10 tackles.  He also added 2 tackles for loss and 1 interception that was taken back for a touchdown just before half.  As a whole, the defense tallied 8 sacks.  TJ Watt, J.Layne, and R.Blackwood had 2 each.

Next up for the Steelers are the New Orleans Saints.  The Saints come into next week, fresh off of a win over the Bengals that brings them to 5-9 for the season.  The teams will meet up with identical records and nothing to play for except pride.  Will the Steelers continue to roll in Josh Rosen's return, or will the Saints finally bring this team back to reality?  Should be an exciting game either way.
